“Hostess was fan-tastic!!!”
The hostess went above and behond for us! Super friendly and very helpfull. We had some car trouble and suddenly ended up staying at the nearest hotel we could find, unplanned and without looking at reviews or anything. We don't speak French, but with google translate the hostess helped us beautifully. The next day we needed to wait in the lobby after check-out to hear where we could pick up another car. When we finally did, it was a two hour taxi ride away and online we could not find a taxi service or bus to take us there.The hostess made the call for us in French and arranged everything. We are very grateful! Other then that; the hotel is very clean and breakfast was perfect. Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning, but there was a very strong fan and the room was cool during the night. Considering everything that went wrong for us that day, staying at Hotel Bel Horizon made everything a little bit better. Would 100% recommend!

“Excellent overnight stop close to the A75”
The host is fantastic, nothing too much trouble, rooms are spacious & comfortable, excellent bath/shower room. Very good serve yourself breakfast, all meats cheese, drinks kept in fridge!

“Excellent stay”
Excellent stop for a journey from Kent to Costa Brava. The room was clean, larger than most 2 star ⭐ hotels, bed was comfortable, good bathroom and shower, excellent breakfast, good WiFi. The hotel is family owned and run and we were warmly welcomed and looked after at breakfast. A particularly useful extra was the usb port integral to the bedside lights.

“Clean room, lovely staff, but lacking a few basics.”
Lovely and very welcoming/helpful lady at the front desk. The room is basic but very clean, with a balcony overlooking the village and fields. Exclusive parking right outside. Restaurants and shops are just a short walk through this pretty town. The bathroom is very modern and clean, and the bed very comfortable.

“Lovely hotel”
Loved the room (with balcony). Nice view towards the town. Peaceful. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Owner very kind, when I enquired if there was a ground floor room, which there isn’t, she showed me the stairs and offered to cancel the booking without charge. There was a useable bannister so we stayed and glad we did. The lounge bar and breakfast were unavailable hence not full mark for facilities. But again we were given a tray with kettle, cups and coffee, not usually in the room. Would recommend and stay again

We arrived on a Monday and all the restaurants were closed. We found a supermarket and the hotel were very happy to let us use their crockery, cutlery etc.

The location is good in terms of travelling on through France. Breakfast very good value for the price. A pleasant little hotel.
