“A perfect home away from home”

This is where I will always call a home away from home. I really enjoyed my stay and I will always choose this place anytime I'm in Trinidad 🇹🇹. The warm reception with a wonderful orientation to the house and its environs. The level of hygiene is top notch. Clean and well ventilated spaces. Staying here is worth the amount paid for.

Traum House was a home being away from home. Raj and Melissia are excellent hosts. Raj being an old backpacker himself, really understands the needs of a backpacker. Both of them shared lots of info about the vicinity and Trinidad. Location is also good as it is close to the major bus route. Good for exploring Trinidad. However beaches are a bit further away.

Gueshouse is well located - 20 min drive from airport and 20 min drive to Port of Spain It's located in a quiet area with supermarkets and restaurants close by. Hosts are very friendly and the room and kitchen are well equiped.

The property is situated in an ideal location, conveniently close to essential amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, and banks. Additionally, it offers a spacious layout, providing ample room for various activities and needs.

The quiet ambiance of the location, also it was close to many main attractions, pool is clean and enjoyable also the facilities inside was very good.

I stayed at The Traum Place as a solo female traveler, and I can honestly say it was one of the most heartwarming experiences of my journey. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and cared for something that can be rare when traveling alone. Professor Rajendran Ramlogan, his wife Kareena, Stephan King, and Monika welcomed me with such kindness and treated me like family. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, helped me get to my exam, and even showed me around beautiful local spots. What I found most special is that this place is not just a bed and breakfast; it’s a true cultural experience, full of warmth, humility, and genuine hospitality. The people here reminded me that kindness and humanity still exist in the world. Trinidad now holds a special place in my heart because of them, and I am truly grateful I found The Traum Place at this stage of my life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for not just accommodation, but a safe, caring, and unforgettable experience.

the welcoming and helpful nature of the staff was really nice and made my stay at the place really worth it. Loved the ambiance of the common area. The place felt really peaceful and quiet.

The place was clean and cosy and staff was nice . We enjoyed the swimming pool. Great kitchen with everything to cook a nice meal .

No breakfast provided however they provide coffee and tea and there is a mini fridge in the room and a huge fringe in kitchen to share. The location is really good and very close to massy supermarket and restaurants yet it is quiet and away from the noise of the traffic and very safe.
