“Nature, history and human warmth”
Everything! The place is amazingly calm and raw: the location breathes nature and history. After arriving there we wished we would have booked a full week and not just 1 night! The main reason for this feeling is 1 person: Christelle. She is outstanding, keeping the entire place cosy for her visitors (us), smiling and doing her best so that you may just relax, rest and enjoy. If you value the true human warmth that an accommodation may have, this is the place for your stay. Love how I felt both offgrid and home. Thank you, Christelle!

“A cosy stay in a beautiful area, with a fabulous breakfast”
A really lovely location, right near the river and the historic hilltop village. The geology of the area is amazing and can be seen just up the road and the walls of the property (and lots of others in the village) are made from basalt columns which is very unique! We had our own separate building which had an outside area and table/chairs and fridge, both very useful for weekday evenings early in the season when eating out options were limited. Despite cold weather the room was very cosy and well heated. Breakfast was fabulous with a warm welcome in the owner’s house. Of all the villages we saw on the river this was the most attractive, and very peaceful, yet only a short drive from Langeac for supplies.
