“A perfect place to stay!!”

Lovely old inn that has great rooms which far exceed the pictures and price!!! Really happy with this as I was with the location. A lovely small ancient French village that seems miles from anywhere and in the middle of some beautiful countryside. The abbey a few mins walk away was also really great and added to the chilled vibe of the setting. I definitely will stay here again when in this part of France! 10/10

“Nature and tranquility”

Me and my husband Andrea slept at the Auberge on a Saturday night and it was very quiet. The hotel is cosy and the owners very welcoming. The area is spectacular, we really enjoyed our vacation there. For the ones who love nature and tranquility that’s the perfect place to stay.

“Leider unangenehm”

The property is a small family run hostel. The room was on the first floor at the end of a very dark hallway. The shared toilet was right across from the room. There is a sink in the room and a shower that is a bit difficult to close as the sliding doors don't work well. the bed is ok Due to the age of the building and the wooden floor, you can hear every step and every sound of other guests. But this is to be expected when renting a cheap room in an old building, so it was okay. Since there were good reviews regarding the breakfast, we had booked the two nights with breakfast. On the first morning there were 4 croissants (apparently baked) for breakfast, two slices of bread (which seemed dry), two jams, honey, a tetrapak of orange juice and only I drank a coffee. Cheese, eggs or sausage were not offered. I wouldn't necessarily call this a lavish breakfast and was wondering how those previous reviews came about. On the second morning the number of croissants was reduced to two and the Tetrapak was only a third full, so each of us had half a glass of orange juice. Since I found this breakfast offer for 14 euros (7 euros/person) a bit tight, I told the owner when paying that I couldn't recommend her breakfast. She then became very angry and said that she had to pay 1 euro for each croissant and that the other guests had always eaten well and were happy. Then she angrily threw me 40 euros instead of the correct 22 euros on the counter. However, it wasn't my intention to push the price down or pay less. I just wanted to say that I found the offer a little meager. A very unpleasant situation arose, especially since the woman's partner then brought in arguments that were not very helpful. Not at all interested in arguing, I insisted on paying the full price for the meal. But the unpleasant atmosphere hasn't changed and we were happy when we drove.

“Authentic Provence holiday”

Very homely setting, very kind owners. It was great to share the terras with locals and other travellers, who were all pleasantly surprised by the locally inspired cuisine, everything home made (even the fruit sorbets). One of my first authentic experiences of life in Provence, and I've lived there for eight years!
