the family running yayei were so friendly, couldn’t help us enough. beds were unbelievably comfy, the room was nice, no bugs inside because of mesh on windows. just an 8-10 min walk from the train station, but the owners offered to drive us there at 5am. there’s also a little shop downstairs and you can rent bikes.

The family who run Yayee are really kind. Som speaks English. I felt really at home. Good food, reasonable prices. Short walk to nam tok railway station. Stunningly beautiful plants around the steps up to the rooms it's beautifully landscaped. It's a really interesting area - I went to the Sai yok waterfalls, erawan Waterfalls, the nearby gardens and the death railway museum. It's a place with a lot of natural beauty and a lot of history. Highly recommend

Loved this homestay. Let’s start with the train up. Catch the 7.30am train from Bangkok … Thonburi train station. If you love a train journey you’ll love this experience. Takes about 5hrs to get to Namtok, goes over River Kwai, most beautiful scenery, and all for only 100bt each. Tip. Sit on the left for best scenery. Ok. Yayee met us at Namtok train station for complimentary ride the homestay. Very nice of them but it’s only a 5 minute walk. We spent 4 nights there. Upstairs garden view. The accommodation has a rustic charm. The room is basic but more than adequate for us. Great sitting veranda outside apartment. Staff were fantastic. Som speaks good English and could not be more helpful. But it was grandma yayee’s cooking that made it fantastic. EVERY meal was delicious, fresh, wonderful, and we ate there for every meal. Very cheap and also the best french fries our whole trip. However try her green curry …. it was the best. We had a day at Arawan Falls, and a day at Hellfire Pass …. both of which I’d recommend. I’d definitely stay here again. Big thanks to all the staff there 👍

The kindest family runs the homestay, i’ve eaten the best Tom Kha Kai here. Very lovely rooms and service. I’d recommend staying here if you just love a quiet and calming environment with much to do in the area

Located in a rural area, but not far from a main road, Yayee Homestay is run by a lovely family! We really enjoyed our 3 night stay there. It was a good base for visiting a number of places - Erawan National Park Tham Phra Phat Cave, Krasae Cave, Prasat Muang Singh Historical Park, Sai Yok National Park, Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre, Sai Yok Noi Falls. Our room was spacious and clean - excellent value for money! We made good use of the balcony area. What made our stay so special was eating at the small family restaurant. What an amazing job the grandma(?) does - such a vast menu to choose from, but she knows exactly what she's doing! We had 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts there - all the meals were freshly made and were delicious (and also cheap). She is such a lovely, warm person. The young lady (niece?) was also very friendly - she could also speak some English, which was a great help.

Great location the owner was so kind picking us up at the train station and taking us back there at 5am. Family run lovely food lovely family. Everything you need also scooter hire.
