Beautiful location and lovely host

Beautiful and very comfortable room: we slept really well. The hostel is in a beautiful and quiet area, with good walks nearby. Kai was a very kind and welcoming host. Very recommended!

It was in the middle of nature! This was absolutely beautiful and you can start your hiking trail in a gorgeous place. The house is very cozy and there is even an outdoor gym! The place is also directly at a river, where you can hang in a hammock :) this is so great!

Everything was incredible at this little haven near Jimba San! The place itself was very clean and comfortable. The location is not too far from Sagamiko station and quite close to a Jimba San trailhead. There was some free coffee/tea and snacks available for purchase. Kai really made the stay feel incredibly comfortable, whether it was with directions, hiking advice or a workout (awesome outdoor gym!). There was a small room to do some work or read in. Can't express enough how pleasant of an experience it was.

Kai’s accommodation is wonderfully situated in nature. The furnishings are simple yet beautiful, and I would have loved to stay longer. Additionally, Kai is an excellent cook! It’s a very special and lovely place to stay. I’m glad I found it at the last minute.

Very friendly host and beautiful surroundings. I used it as a last stop of the Tokai Nature Trail but will soon return because of how welcoming the place was. Definitely recommend!

What I liked most was the location (in the forest, near a river, you can enjoy nature in silence) and of course the owner, who tries to give the best to his guests. it feels like this is your old friend!

“Perfect place to chill in the woods!!”

The place was very beautiful and the host Kai was very kind. The place is all surrounded by forest and there is beautiful water stream flowing, in which you can swim unless it is not winter lol. You can cook your own food in common kitchen or ask Kai to arrange the BBQ. Highly recomended place to escape into nature and have lovely time in the woods.

A place where you can hear about Kai's travels and meet people from different countries. You can also experience river sauna and boxing. It was great to be able to barbecue in the nature!

Clean bunk beds w shelves to place your stuff and charge electronics. Owner Kai is friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Great place to stay if you are hiking in the area.

-The owner Kai is very kind and can tell you about places all around Japan and the world. He's changed my trip for the better! -I also had a chance to talk to the locals and do some sports with them which was very fun. -Kai is very quick to integrate any advice you give him. I really liked that about him, thanks Kai! -The place is close to Tokyo ~1hour and at the same time in the middle of near magical unspoilt nature. Also close to Mt Takao

“Relaxing, peaceful and welcoming, perfect recharge”

The training in the morning with Kai, and the location in the mountains was awesome! It’s a beautiful place to rest and recharge and the sauna and river cool off was amazing. Kai is a very attentive host but gives you plenty of space at the same time. I had a bbq and asked if he would like to join me which he did and we had a great night! Unfortunately he didn’t forget training in the morning 😂😁 What a great guy.

Close to nature and a very relaxing place to stay. Close to good hiking trails including Mt Takao. Beautiful room in japanese style. Kai was very welcoming and helpful.

“Very nice getaway from the city”

I really enjoyed personal boxing training with Kai-san, and he was very nice, showed me the route from the place to Takao-san, which few people know, so even though it was a weekend, it wasn’t crowded at all. Volunteers there at the property made great scramble eggs for me for breakfast, I was so happy :)

This is a quaint, quiet and friendly place to enjoy and relax!!! There are many options and Kai is happy to show you all of your options!!! There are many things to do nearby and he is happy to accomodate you in any way you need!!
