It's very close to the train station. Almost everyone will be arriving there via bus or train. The town is pretty walkable/ bussable from this location. they give you two pillows. Like most hotels, they are also willing to receive your luggage early.

The staff were friendly and professional. Their were very understanding when we feedback that the bathroom were elevated too high to step in. They managed to find a stepping stool to place infront of the bathroom.

There was mould in the bathroom, and the taps/sink/surfaces in the bathroom were really dusty, mouldy, and in the case of the taps/pipes had old toothpaste splotches. For reference, I have stayed in tons of Japanese hotels and always feel positively, but this one was gross.

I had a comfortable overnight stay at Saga City Hotel. The location is excellent—convenient and easy to get around—and the buffet breakfast was a nice touch that added value to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall cleanliness and comfort levels were fine for a short stay.

We found the staff very friendly and we liked the free use of the coffee machines. The room was very clean and comfortable and the the use of the microwave was very helpful. All in all we thought the hotel was excellent value for money.

The hotel is close to JR Saga station and Saga bus center with access on foot. And the accommodation rate is attractive and cheaper than other hotels around the train station. The amenities are available enough for comfortable stay and the room is arranged well. Strongly recommended for solo travelers seeking for affordability.
