It is good base to get to Yoshinogari park, Nagasaki or Fukuoka. They have everything that you would expect from any APA.

“Nice business hotel”
The rooms were small, as expected, and nice looking, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well stocked with amenities, the breakfast was good, and the location was great. They also had BBC TV in English which was fabulous. Bonus feature was that suitcases would fit under the bed!

“Old and weak aircon”
Short walk from train station The rooms were bigger than stated in description, or it has good feng shui, because we could open two suitcases in the corridor, it had deep space there for keeping it. In other APA hotels I was, rooms were smaller Cheap washing machines with detergent

“Excellent value”
Exception service at every level. The staff are really helpful! I got put in one of the quieter parts of the hotel which was really nice. Had no problems at all. I had a room with a big bathtub which was really nice.

“Uncomfortable anyway”
Very noisy especially from door. Room making staff is continuously making big noises and talking loudly. Felt very uncomfortable. No breakfast was provided even thouth there is description it is included when reserve. I couldn't realize until entring the room. A bed is so high that it is uncomfortable. Luggage under bed is not good idea. Small room concept is ok but too much. For example a tap is sticking out over the washbasin so very hard to wash my face. Members card has wrong Kana of my name which can't correct anymore therefore the membership couldn't be registered. No chance for 2nd time.

Not too many selection. I stayed 5 night continuously, the same breakfast really made me tired from the third day. I suggest APA to shop among other competitors and see what can be improved.

My domestic flight was cancelled due to the bad weather. I came across APA which Paolo from Tokyo covered on YouTube and the staff exemplified the same service standard as the Shinjuku branch.
