The Turgut Reis Konak is housed in a historical building in the UNESCO-listed centre of Old Safranbolu. It features unobstructed town views, wood-carved ornaments and a restaurant. We stayed for two nights and had a great stay. The lady host, sorry didn't ask your name, is super nice and caring, though we don't speak Turkish and she doesn't speak English, the communication was great 😃 the house is very nice, with wooden ceiling, rooms are basic, but clean and comfy. The best thing was breakfast, it was our best breakfast in Turkey, plentiful and with lots of homemade things and vegetable and fruit from the garden. The guest house is 2 minutes walking from the old market, there are several restaurants and bars to have beer nearby.

The kindness of the people who runs the hotel, the lovely 200 years old house the bed was so confortable, I slept so well. Everything was clean, the bedroom is such beautiful. I definitly recommend this place if you are on low budget !
