The Ottoman style was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were made very welcome by all of the staff. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful. The location is excellent for exploring the old town and also as a base for visiting the Black Sea coast, and also had excellent parking.

Very nice bedroom with amazing town views from the balcony. The hotel is a stilysh ottoman house, in perfect location in the old town, very close to everything. The delicious breakfast was served in a very nice room with outstanding views.

Best breakfast of my life, no kidding. He picked me up from and dropped me back to the bus station which was very kind. The room was perfect and clean. The view from the garden and the terrace during the day and at night were gorgeous

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Safranbolu’s historic area, which allowed us to fully experience the atmosphere of the town. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the traditional architecture was beautifully combined with modern facilities. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options. We truly felt at home during our stay.

“Cozy and warm home in Safranbolu!”

Excellent accommodation✨ we spent 2 nights here. On arrival we’ve got a free room upgrade and got a room with amazing views of the old town. In 5 minutes on foot you reach the bazaar and many coffee shops. The included breakfast was very tasty - we had a full table of food. Also we got free coffee, tea and biscuits whenever we wanted. The host and his team were very friendly and helpful. We felt like at home in this comfy, warm room and would have stayed longer if we had time. We definitely will be back! Thank you very much for this perfect stay!

Excellent Konak, clean and pleasant. Nice view to the old city. Very gentle owner and staff (they upgrade our reservation). Very good breakfast. I will return.

It was like staying in a museum, at the same time everything was clean and convinient. The owner was very nice and helpful, we even got a room with a fantastic view at the price of a standard room. The place is very close to all the historical sites and provides a convinient parking. The breakfast exceeded our expectations.

The owner, his wife and other staff are very friendly and nice. Hotel is very close to the center but also quiet, a stunning view from the balcony. Breakfast is super rich 😋 I really enjoyed my stay.

Everything was perfect.The owner is a very kindnesses person and a good men and the other people who works in the hotel.The breakfast was huge and delicious and the view of the village from the hotel is unforgettable.

My experience in travelling Turkey is that the people are friendly and helpful - and this is reflected in the staff at this, and other, hotels. The location was excellent for walking access to the town centre, and the room was very comfortable. No complaints.

“Simply fantastic”

It was the most amazing location - elevated with panoramic views over the whole of Safranbolu. Sympathetic restoration of a historic Ottoman mansion maintaining character and charm , but also providing modern day comforts. It is only a 200m walk down to the centre , and easily accessed by car with parking on the road right outside. Mr Gunes takes a real pride in his property , and it shows in the ongoing garden project , his friendliness , and the huge and well prepared breakfasts. It is completely worth booking the upstairs room with the balcony. We loved it.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful historic konak with an incredible view. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the host was incredibly kind – he even drove us back to the otogar. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Safranbolu!
