“A wonderfully authentic ottoman hotel”
It is a beautifully renovated ottoman house, which was a treat to stay in. The space was comfortable, well furnished and clean. It felt very homely. Location just a 5 min walk to the old town center and we parked securely in the driveway. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The owner was kind and very helpful

“Quaint getaway spot for family.”
It was a quaint little ottoman house surrounded by fruit trees of all varieties in a picturesque surrounding. Very close to the Main bazaar. They also had parking which was a plus considering how narrow and steep all the roads in the city are. Mr Imam and his son Mr Boran were very warm and welcoming.

“Beautiful Akbulut Konak ❤️”
We cannot say enough good things about Akbulut Konak and the family who own and operate this place. It's a beautiful, historical home that's been so well preserved and looked after. Peaceful setting, extremely clean, comfortable, cosy and amazing Turkish breakfast served each day but most of all the family are the warmest and kindest people ever. It truly felt like a home away from home and we were sad our stay was too short. If you are planning to visit Safranbolu, stay at Akbulut Konak, it's the best :)

“Perfect”
Absolutely remarkable stay. Couldn’t have loved more our stay at Imam’s superbly restored Ottoman house. Such a caring couple that even not speaking english made us feel so much welcomed and at home. The breakfast itself is a true experience of a traditional turkish breakfast at its best. There’s no chance of not falling in love with this place.

Location in a semi village experience and walking distance from attractions. Staff were family nice to know. Friendly. Space for parking. Small garden.the house is architecture is old style and with traditional furniture. This is one of the best countryside houses

Akbulut Konak is one of the loveliest, clean and peaceful place in Safranbolu. Operated by a very nice family which is really helpful during entire stay. During whole stay you feel like staying your own house. Breakfast and their garden indeed Superb. wish to visit them soonest.

I don’t find appropriate words to express how much I enjoyed my stay at Akbulut Konak. It’s a beautiful old house, carefully restored with attention to details. The breakfast was just anazing, the richest I had in Turkey. Most ludos, however, go to the owners who did everything for me to feel great. Can you imagine that they even changed the flat tyre in my car which I hadn’t even noticed myself? It’s a place which I will remember and want to go back to again.
