Amazing property in the middle of the vineyards in the heart of the Champagne region. Rooms beautiful, Food fresh and delicious, Great Service and very cool jacuzzi. Must Visit this iconic Chateau.

Overall, the hotel left a good impression, but I wouldn’t call it a solid five-star property — it’s more of a strong four-star hotel. For a five-star level, some basic service elements are missing. For example, there was no bellboy to assist with luggage. There was a very kind receptionist who did her job perfectly and even offered to help with the bags, but honestly, it doesn’t feel right to ask her to carry suitcases — it’s simply a matter of proper service standards. Regarding the room (Winston Churchill), there was no wardrobe at all — nowhere to hang clothes, which is quite surprising for a hotel of this level. Breakfast was also disappointing. Expectations were much higher. There seemed to be some confusion with the service: either the staff didn’t fully understand us in English, or something else went wrong. For a table of four, each of us ordered cold cuts, sausages, and a fruit salad, but in the end, only one portion of each was served. After we asked again, another single portion was brought 10 minutes later. Only the fruit salads were eventually served to each person — but by that time, we were already about to leave due to the long wait. The pastries also left much to be desired. The views from the hotel, however, are absolutely outstanding — 10/10. Considering all of the above, the price feels noticeably overpriced for what the hotel actually offers. In summary: a pleasant stay, but the hotel does not quite meet five-star expectations and does not justify its price.

This is a special place. Very quiet surrounded by vineyards. Well appointed rooms, nice bar, great breakfast. The restaurant was closed the evening we visited, and we were there for one night only on a road trip so didn’t try the spa or visit nearby wineries for champagne tasting. Next time we visit we will ensure we are on a less tight schedule.
