“Nice stopover hotel.”
The room had air conditioning so it was lovely and cool. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We ate in the pizzeria in the evening which was also very good. Location is 2 minutes into the main centre.

Hotel was spotless and our room was perfect - newly refurbished and very quiet. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast included freshly-baked pastries and a good variety of fresh fruit.

“Excellent stay, definitely recommend!”
The hotel was perfect in every aspect. Is located right in the middle of an old citadel so driving towards it gets you through the Imperial Gate (Porta Imperiale), and the building is from 1700's so is an historically protected building. Rooms were equipped with AC so returning to a 20 something degrees room after a full day in the heat was amazing. Hotel seems to have been recently renovated so everything felt fresh and clean. The restaurant served a consistent variety of Italian dishes (some with different names then expected) and at least the ones we tried were top quality. Staff was really friendly and helpful and constantly tried to make our stay there more than comfortable. I highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to spend some quiet days in Lombardy.
