Pension Heino is an amazing place to stay in Saas Grund. Offers great scenic views, is centrally located and run by a very friendly, helpful and kind host. Goulda is a very helpful owner who looks after her guests and makes sure we are happy and comfortable.

Golda was a lovely host, offering local advice and a welcoming manner. Breakfast and the optional dinner represented extremely good value. The evening meals were no nonsense and wholesome and the breakfast offered a wide range of healthy options. The location is superb. It's much less commercial than Saas-Fee which I liked.

The hostess is very nice and warm-hearted. The location is excellent. It takes only one minute to walk to the bus stop. The house is very quiet at night and the sound insulation is great. Highly recommended!

If you're in town to take advantage of the mountains and local sightseeing, this is the perfect place to stay in the Saas-Grund/Saas-Fee area. The woman who runs it is a gem of a human being and extremely accommodating and kind (she even helped me when I ran into some issues with the local transit system, which she didn't have to do), the rooms are simple but have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. The food is also exceptional. I ate one meal at another restaurant in town that was much more expensive, but not nearly as good as the food at Pension Heino. 11/10.

All was great here. I would only add to the other glowing reviews that this is a great place for the solo hiker since you get to share dining tables with other solo hikers. I like to hike alone but in the evenings snd mornings it's nice to have companionship snd laygh and learn together
