Overview
The rustic-style Chalet Arnika enjoys a quiet location, only 300 metres from the Kreuzboden cable car. It offers rooms and apartments with panoramic views of the mountains and over the Saas Valley. Ski equipment can be stored in a separate room. During the warmer months you can spend relaxing hours in the large garden. The centre of Saas-Grund can be reached on foot in 7 minutes. Saas Fee is a 10-minute bus ride away from the Arnika Chalet. There you can take the cable car to the Hannig Ski Area and the Allalin Glacier at 3500 above sea level. From June to October, guests enjoy the free use of all cable cars, mountain railways and public buses in the Saas Valley.

“Arnika in May”
Super convenient to the hiking trails or cable cars. The unit was comfortable with communal kitchen and bathroom/showers. It's a great spot and it's nice that the market is right next door.

Very polite and nice hostess Bernadette, she was very kind and polite, it was a pleasure to communicate with her. We even received a box of chocolates as a gift. The room was cozy and most importantly the bed was really comfortable with a thick mattress and very warm duvet. The reservation in the accommodation allows to receive a card from the host to ride the cable car in Saas Grund and Die post buses in the region. There is a separate kitchen with coffee machine with coffee, tea bags The air and water are incredible. The bus station and market very close.

The host is very nice and has great knowledge of the local mountains and other activities to do in the area. You also get a complimentary "Saastalcard" when staying at this chalet, which means that you can take the cablecar up and down to Kreuzboden and Hohsaas as much as you like during your stay. The chalet lies in a quiet area and has clean and spacious rooms.
