We are absolutely thrilled after our stay at Hotel Marmotte in Saas-Fee, Switzerland! These were, without a doubt, the best days of our summer. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warmth and charm of this magical place. The hotel itself is cozy, elegant, and perfectly nestled amidst the breathtaking alpine scenery. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated — from the comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms to the delicious breakfasts that fueled our days of exploration. The spa area was a true delight, offering the perfect way to relax and soak in the serenity of the mountains. Spending my birthday here made it even more special — I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to celebrate. The views from the hotel were simply unforgettable: endless mountains, glistening glaciers, and the charming village below. We even spotted the adorable local marmots hopping around, which added an extra touch of magic to our mornings. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the atmosphere — peaceful, welcoming, and utterly enchanting. Each day felt like a dream, a perfect escape from the ordinary. Leaving was incredibly difficult; I found myself checking out with tears in my eyes, heartbroken to say goodbye to such a special place. If you are looking for a serene alpine getaway, where every moment is filled with beauty and joy, Hotel Marmotte in Saas-Fee is an absolute treasure. We left with our hearts full and our spirits lifted, already dreaming of our next visit.

It was clean. I was disappointed with the pillows and bedding. It was very old and needed new pillows and the towels were RAGS. I should have photographed them. ☹️

We came to Saas Fee for the marmots and so couldn't help but stay in the Hotel Marmotte. Both the marmots and the hotel delivered! We had a cosy room with a stunning view of the mountains, which was highly enjoyed. Being vegetarian we are always on the lookout for good food options but didn't have to go far as the meatless burger on the hotel restaurant is stunning. We also got a complimentary coffee in the family's nearby coffee shop just for staying in their hotel. A rejuvenative place to stay with wonderful service and friendly staff.

The staff at Hotel Marmotte were incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is very comfortable, located in a peaceful and scenic area of Saas Fee. We especially enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. Dinner at the Essstube was a highlight – delicious food in a cozy setting.

Fabulously well-located, quite close to my conference venue and excellent value for money! The staff were super helpful, sending the 'car' to pick me up and dropping me back to the bus station.
