Overview
Enjoying a ski-to-door position in the centre of car-free Saas-Fee, the peacefully located 3-star Hotel Ambiente offers a typical Alpine ambience, comfortable rooms and an elegant wood-panelled restaurant. All of the rooms at Ambiente feature a south-facing balcony. They are decorated in Alpine style and feature private tiled bathroom. Cable TV and a seating area are available in every room. The elegant public spaces include a lounge and a bar. The restaurant specialises in typical Swiss delicacies such as Racclette and fondue dishes. A 4-course dinner is served every evening. A buffet breakfast includes many regional products and is served until 12:00. The ski slopes can be reached within few steps and Alpin Express Cable Car is 300 metres away. Ambiente offers free shuttle to Saas Fee Bus Station, which is 700 metres away. A guest card providing several benefits and discounts is included in the room rate. With it, guests can enjoy free access to public transport and the cable cars in the Saas Valley (except the Metro Alpin) during summer, and free access to public transport and several other discounts during winter.

- Great location, very close to Alpin Express and about a 7-8 minute walk from the main street. - Very helpful staff, both at reception and the taxi driver - offered a taxi (a small electric car) for pick up and transport within the village. - Comfortable bed - Good breakfast - didn't expect much as it was included in a very competitive room price. A surprisingly good selection of cold cuts. Good Birchermuesli. - They advertise the tap water as excellent and I believe them :)

“Absolutely fabulous!”
This hotel is absolutely excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was totally silent, with complete blackout curtains and a comfortable bed so every night was a great one. The breakfast was lovely too and the location of the hotel is perfect. A very nice touch was an upgrade of the room to a double when I initially booked a single. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would love to stay here again!

Very nice room located just a 100 metres from a couple of cable cars. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, top!
