Lovely cabin but just wished it was a little closer to a town. We have kids and being closer to town would have been better for us.

It is in such a beautiful location, excellently equipped for everything we needed with self catering and 2 sledges for use by the children. There is a sauna and shower room and a gorgeous fire. The beds are comfortable, the cabin superbly clean and warm and super cosy.

Our host Mike, is a wonderful person. He was polite and friendly. The night we reached he took us on a spontaneous Aurora hunt, since the next two days were cloudy and sunny. We didnt manage to see the northern lights but we had good company and he put in real efforts to drive us for 5 hours straight to find one. Thank you Mike. We will see you again.

“The perfect place to base yourself to enjoy all of the wonders Lapland!”

Jaana and Mika made our stay so enjoyable. The cabins are lovely, the perfect distance out of town to relax in between all of the fantastic activities our hosts helped us book. Easy access into Saariselka, great cooking facilities in the cabin and an authentic Finnish experience. Jaana booked our activities for us which was so easy. All transfers were included as well as the thicker winter suits and boots that kept us warm and dry. If the weather wasn’t in our favour, it was no problem when the activity needed to be rescheduled. Jaana had it all sorted for us in a flash. Very sad to leave this gorgeous place.

Mika was great. Very helpful and gave good ideas on snow walks.

Sauna was brilliant. Lapland dinner was amazing and cosy. The owners were so helpful and accommodating and really make this place special.

The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The activities they organized added an extra touch of magic to our experience and made our stay unforgettable.

We loved the clean comfy cabins which were cozy and well equipped. Janna and Mika are excellent hosts. We couldnt reccomend Polar Aurora Cabins any better! Frankly they are way better then the commercial accomodations out there and offer a ‘Home Away From Home’ experience. They make a perfect team and run the cabins like clockwork.

The location of the huts is amazing! The surrounding nature is beautiful and it is very quiet and private. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and the organized activity was great. We also enjoyed the sauna and the barbecue hut.

Mika was a very friendly host, the cabin is very cute and clean. The view is beautiful, the cabin is conveniently located with ski resort and grocery store nearby. Mika was always close by, ready to help. The dinner in the beautiful Kota was very pleasant, we were the only ones there. Mika is a very friendly talkative host and a good cook.

A different world here. Small place with few cabins, beautiful surroundings, nature and snow. Good experience to stay here than normal hotels. You may see reindeers if you are lucky. Host was nice and helpful. Very efficient to solve any problems and answer queries. Well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately we didn't see any aurora during our stay. Quiet place and good for long walks. Make sure that you bring enough food and drinks for your stay. Also some first aid stuff, just in case. The amenities and restaurants are quite a distance. Taxi is very expensive here.
