the kitchen/living room space it's very nice and cosy. The host is very friendly and efficient with communication. Location is very nice, close to the main restaurants to walk to, but quite away from the "buzz" of town.

“Great private stay outside of town”

Location was ok, away from the hussle and bussle of the town in a quiet peaceful area. The children loved playing outside in the snow and in a safe environment. Was only around 15-20min walk into town but can be a tiering walking back up the hill. Lots of space to spread out and relax within the property. Very good kitchen facilities with everything to self cater. Great sauna room.

The location was out if the centre area of the town and still in walking distance, which gave us both the quietness and convenience. The property had more than enough rooms for three of us and all facilities were working fine. The kitchen equipment was very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and responsive to our questions concerning the property and equipment.

We loved Luttotupa, the house has everything you need and more. Although there are beds for 9 people at least, we stayed there just as a couple but the place didn't feel too big. Would be great for a group as well. Wonderful and convenient location, looking out is like looking at a postcard. The host was super helpful. We will be sure to book the house for our next visit which hopefully will be soon!

“A Perfect Getaway”

The location is perfect: far enough from the touristy centre of the village, so we could enjoy the snowy forest scenery in silence, but the local shopping centre with a grocery store and a cafe is still comfortably reachable on foot (about 20 min walking), and the bus stop for Ivalo airport public bus is just 100 m from the house. The house is very spacious with a lot of bedrooms to choose from. The fireplace is awesome (firewood is free), and the sauna was a very nice thing to do after a day of exploring (particularly when it's -25 C outside). The kitchen is well-stocked with various-sized dishes, and utensils (there is even a thermos). Everything was very clean (apart from the oven which was in a dismal state and smelled very strongly like burnt food while we were preheating it to heat our frozen pizza). There is a large TV opposite the bed on the 2nd floor with lots of channels to choose from. The hosts are very friendly (they even provided us with a few useful links to local Finnish weather websites), the check-in/check-out instructions were clear, and all went smoothly and in a relaxed way.
