It was a self catering apartment which was well equipped. The property was very warm and cosy and the sauna was very good.

The location was superb. So close to everything but felt private in the cabin. Great for catching the ski bus around the village and up to the slopes. Super for the airport bus service. The living area was plenty big enough for us. The bedrooms were fine for what we needed. Loads of wardrobe space. Great sauna. Sledges were supplied. The house was always really warm.

Great accommodation , with all the facilities we needed. Store cupboard had wood for the fire and sledges to use. Kitchen well equipped. Sauna was great! View out of the back of the property was lovely, quiet location but only a short walk to the ski centre, supermarket and village.

A beautiful cosy cottage walking distance to town and the ski fields. Amenities supplied are first class and loved the fireplace. A great place to stay.

The property has everything you might need, a well equipped kitchen, well equipped bathroom, including sauna. Everything was well explained in the instructions folder, including the manuels for the various machines in the house. the cabin is spacious, quiet, in a fairy-tale like environment. close to supermarket, to NLV, where we had some of the cativities, close to the saariselka sign, you can basicall get on foot everywhere, and it is beautiful, not crowded, but not deserted either. Tyhe host replies quickly and precisely, which is great. The storage room next to the cabin has everything you might think: sledges, shovel, wood for the fireplace.... And it is well placed to see the aurora. We had quite some dancing shows right on our doorsteps.

Our apartment, albeit more like a cottage was fantastic. The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! Limitless logs for the fire, a very short walk into the town and the ski bus. We had everything we needed, lots of pots and pans, the place was super warm with the added bonus of a sauna…and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The bus stop to and from the airport was literally a minutes walk but if you’re going to try and get the first bus to the airport in the morning have a back up plan as it didn’t come so we just hot footed it into town and managed to get the next one (we didn’t want to risk it not turning up at the stop again). We would highly recommend this accommodation and will certainly be booking again as our only regret is we didn’t have enough days! Top tip…if you go up to the Aurora Hut…take some sausages to grill up there!!

Stunning cabin! Very roomy inside! Stunning views/scenery. Really liked the little Xmas lights and touches. Made it feel very homely. Was lovely and warm inside too.

Warm and cosy. Heated floors were nice. Sauna good and clothes dryer very handy. Beds comfy. Property clean, Wi-Fi, open fire, heating and air con. View out the back stunning with all the snow. Nice quiet location.

Location was nice and quiet - while not in the very centre of town it was a very easy walk to restaurants, shops, skiing and trails. Also very short walking distance and easy access to the bus stop to the airport (or from Inari). Apartment had everything you would need. Beds were nice and comfy. Kristiina was a great and helpful host and self check in was very simple.

Everything! This place is magical! We absolutely enjoyed our 4 nights stay in Saariselkä. The accommodation was more than perfect! I fell in love with the place and this apartment. Everything about it was so cute, decorated with taste and comfortable. All commodities reachable by a short walk was the cherry on the top. Kristiina has been on the top of our booking (booked a year in advance) and provided great tips and recommendations within the booking process. I can not recommend this accommodation enough : it has been simply perfect!

We stayed in 6 B 11. We enjoyed the open fire with wood supply, the sauna and the family friendly facilities; kitchen, washing machine. You need these things as there aren’t many options for eating out prior to about 3:00pm. The cottage creates a nice atmosphere for a winter stay over Christmas. Whilst the location is good, it is a fair walk to the centre of Saariselka.
