“A Must-Stay Location in Saaremaa”

Kotka Farm is the perfect spot if you're looking for a cosy, rustic atmosphere combined with the modern comforts you're used to. The beds were comfortable, and the curtains kept out the morning light, letting us sleep in peacefully. The mobile signal was weak, which made it easier to disconnect and fully enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. Kotka Farm proudly holds a Green Key accreditation, which reflects its commitment to sustainability. Guests are encouraged to sort their waste and use a biotoilet - though there’s also a regular bathroom available in the main building. Our 4-year-old was especially fond of the biotoilet, saying it 'makes the flowers happy', and was equally delighted by the chickens in the chicken coop. The owner, Kadri - a warm and welcoming host - has two dogs, but they’re kept indoors when guests are around. We only heard them bark twice and otherwise had no interaction with them.

Very beautiful and well restaurated characteristic Estonian farm. Nice bedroom and well equipped shared kitchen and bathroom. Also a cosy shared living room space.

“Warm comfortable stay in a peaceful and welcoming environment.”

Beautiful authentic thatched cabins, tastefully decorated in a traditional style. The host was friendly and helpful and she gave us excellent recommendations and advice and also an excellent breakfast. There is a very comfortable and well equipped communal kitchen and lounge. The toilet facilities were excellent and there is even the option of an environmentally friendly compost toilet. The restoration of the cabins is sympathetic and harmonious but also simply beautiful. A sauna is also available but sadly we didn’t have time to try it out.

Remote and peaceful location on the island. Loads of outdoor space to enjoy. Clean and comfortable cottage. Great environmentally friendly approach and advice for visitors. We loved the sauna and talking to the host!

The location was amazing, quiet and relaxing. The owner is very nice. The room was new and apart from the main house so it was really peaceful.

If you want to stay overnight in the fairytail, away from society, with a chance to meet e.g. a fox, it is a definitely right place! It is located away from the main road in the middle of the forest/fields. It is privately owned farm, complex of the renovated and equipped old wooden buildings. Owners are very hospitable and supportive. Small rooms are simple, just for overnight stay. 6 persons room is wide, with possibility to spend longer time indoors. There is a terrace outside, with light and grill equipment. We really enjoyed the absence of the noize, there are only natural sounds. Rich breakfast is served for an extra price. It is possible to use washing machine for an extra fee.

The farm is beautifully restored and a delight for anyone who appreciates local heritage & architecture. Kadri is a fantastic host, very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The sauna was a lovely addition to our stay and I warmly recommend her 5-star breakfast :)

Nature, close to seaside, calm, very nice garden, traditional houses and sauna. Perfect host.

Hope to return one day again. Kadri's traditional house made of a thatched roof and surrounded by the forest, felt like a scene from a folk fairytale. Everything was top notch - the friendliness of the host, the location, the cleanliness and facilities, even the mosquitos were not on sight.

Everything was nice. The athmospeare, tranquility. We were the only guests. It felt like being in the Muhu museum. Went for morning jog in the forest. sauna was superb.
