Location next to the balcony walk and size of the house were perfect! Really nice to have a good car park. Contains everything that you need. We also just heated the house at night with the airconditioning. No cold at all.

“À peaceful nest overlooking the mountains”

Outstanding location, some 150m away from the W6 trail starting point. The house is nested in a very nice garden, with breathtaking views on the surrounding mountains, and with all amenities to enjoy outdoor dining.

Very spacious, well equipped, well located for a nice sunset and sunrise. Not far away by car for the Cliff Café which has very good croissant for the breakfast.

Magical spot at the start of Balcony Walk !

The location is amazing at Jabal Shams, top of Oman . Next to the great view of Oman beautiful Canyon. Also few meter from the starting point of W6 hiking ( one the best trail on the area) . The host Mohammad and Ali were very supportive.

Location is very good. Great sunsets. Right at the start of the walk. Spacious rooms. TV WiFi, washing machine was very useful after a week of travelling. It was Ramadan so very useful to be able to make breakfast yourself. private garden with wall all the way round to keep the goats out. Large kitchen.

The house is situated in a small village. It has beautiful views of the mountains. The host was very kind and they offered very good breakfast and dinner. The house is large, with spacious kitchen - living room area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We loved the terrace with the view. Very quite place, but few steps from the start of the Balcony Walk route (approx. 5 minutes walking). There are no shops or restaurants, be ready for that. There is no signal in the house, but the WIFI worked very well. It is possible to reach it with 2WD car, but after our experience, we recommend to have 4WD car, the last 20 km to the village are quite rough.

Amazing location, right at the beginning of W6 trail and very quiet at night. Beautiful area to enjoy a barbecue/bonfire. You can get a optional breakfast and dinner on site which was very delicious. House was large with 2 bedrooms and huge kitchen/dining area.

One of the best stays ever! The property was so clean and huge! The view from the house was spectacular! Just at the start of the balcony walk. The owner was very friendly, hospitable and always available. There is a local person to help out with food or anything else.

The house is much bigger inside than it looks on the pictures. The location is very remote and calm, just at the start of the Balcony trail. We appreciated the heating at night and washing machine, outside sitting area, and a kind host.

This is the stunning villa set against a backdrop of greenery. Also, there is a great space to put up a bonfire and roast some barbecue. The sight of the stars from outside the villa at night is fantastic, and so is watching the sun rise a short distance from the villa. The rooms are warm, comfortable, and tidy and the only disadvantage is the waterlogging in the toilet floor. This can be easily fixed by providing a wiper. The kitchen has all the required utensils as well as a drinking water gallon. All in all, it’s a great spot for self rejuvenation and nature exploration.
