Very well equipped and appointed house and we were so at home there. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms and kitchen perfect. We were grateful for the generosity of our hosts on finding a well filled pantry including bread and milk on our arrival. The easy walk into town and the beautiful garden were an added bonus.

I loved my stay at Pulling Up Stumps. I found the property very cosy and homely. I appreciated the fresh milk in the fridge there was also a fresh loaf of bread provided. I did not use that, but I did appreciate it. I loved the inclusion of electric blankets on the beds. Would stay there again if I need to visit the area again.

The house is large and supremely homely, with a fabulous garden. The location is excellent: 1 km from the township of Rutherglen - a very short drive or a 15-minute stroll. The property is set back off the road and is very quiet. This place has everything we would want, and it was spotlessly clean. It was particularly lovely to sit on the verandah and have coffee or an evening drink.

Breakfast items and coffee supplied was a bonus as we didn't realise. Easy key collection and complete privacy during our stay. Highly recommended.
