Travelling to the lodge by boat due to the access road being flooded was well organised and added to our experience. The location was beautiful directly on the river with subdued lighting in the evening making the evening sky full of stars magnificent. Friendly staff always smiling made us feel welcome the minute we arrived at Hakusembe. Take a sundowner boat trip as the colour of the sunset was gorgeous. A beautiful relaxing place for 2 days is highly recommended.

We were blown away by the care shown by staff at this River Lodge. The food was incredible, and the room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The pool area is lovely and the lodge sits right on the river. We both agree that this is the best accommodation we've stayed at in Africa so far! We highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting to stay in Rundu!

Absolutely stunning thatched cabins on manicured lawns overlooking the Kavango River and across to Angola in the other side. Beautiful sunsets from the deck and dining/restaurant area, exquisite food, amazing g poolside massages..the list goes on!!!

Great location, best pool of anywhere we stayed in Namibia

Excellent breakfast, we liked the early coffee on the veranda, our stay was perfect. Great return after 7 years.

The staff was incredibly kind and the chalet nearby the river was super nice. The sunset cruise was also nice and the welcome-back with the songs amazing and the staff singing all together showed the great atmosphere at the location. Dinner and breakfast were good and sufficient for starting a new day!

Beautiful thatched cottages with the verandah overlooking the river. Delighted to wake up and find a thermos of hot coffee on the veranda, ready to watch the sunrise. Beautiful little garden of Eden with fantastic staff and very good buffet supper.

Breakfast was good, chef and Kennedy friendly as can be expected from Namibians in general. Room spacious and very clean with ample towels. Great view of the river and the coffee on the stoep next morning was wonderful.

Nice location on the river and excellent food. Perfect to relax for a day on a road trip through Namibia. Very friendly staff.

Successful stay! The staff is very very friendly, competent and helpful. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The food in the restaurant is very good and the buffet is very varied and delicious! The rooms are very clean, the staff does a great job here too. Internet is fast and stable. Air conditioning in the room and clean an well maintained.
