It’s truly a once in a lifetime magical experience. A hidden gem making for the most perfect setting. Staff were really friendly and supportive during our stay Breakfast in the igloo was perfect

Monden design with a large bed in nature. We wen for a ski and did an experience. Breakfast was good and nice to have in the main building.

Location and accommodation absolutely amazing. Can honestly say everything exceeded expectations we are a family of 6 and had the most magical night. We stayed NYE and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They provided free tapas food/snacks a complimentary drink and did a firework display too. There were open fires outside, games, sledges everything you need. Could not recommend enough. We hired the hot tub and sauna for 2 hours which was lovely but very expensive at 275 euros. Think this needs to be cheaper but other than this book yourself a magical night away. We didn’t want to go to sleep as the views were so stunning

Absolutely stunning setting. The staff were extremely accommodating and breakfast was delicious. Sauna and spa were heavenly to unwind in after a full day in the beautiful surroundings. Close to restaurants in Ruka, hiking trails and shops.

“Amazing stay in the middle of nature”

Amazing special place in the middle of the nature. We managed to see the northern lights from our cabin and it was an incredible experience.

Stunning scenery, wonderful staff, fantastic location beside lots of activities and close to Ruka village. The igloos were clean and comfortable and warm. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the igloos, would certainly recommend!

The ponds are beautiful, IF you get a good one. The lake and the snow is nice to look at and you may even get some northernlights, there is a cafe (Lammintupa) across the lake that has huskys, reindeers and snowmobiles, so that was nice to do. Breakfast was okay but very small and simple.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Magical Pond in Ruka, Finland, during the Christmas holidays. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a magical atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairy tale. The place is truly enchanting, with breathtaking nature and a warm ambiance that immediately charmed us. The hotel, intimate and cozy, offered the perfect setting for enjoying quality family time. Our two-year-old son loved playing in the snow, and the outdoor space, with stunning views of the frozen lake and snowy forests, was perfect for peaceful walks. The owners of the hotel, incredibly kind and welcoming, made a world of difference. They were always available to offer advice and little thoughtful gestures that made our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home, even though we were far away from it. The rooms were very comfortable, perfectly suited to the needs of a family with a young child. We especially appreciated the impeccable cleanliness and the attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local products – a perfect way to start the day with energy. If you’re looking for a peaceful, magical, and authentic place to spend a memorable Christmas holiday, we highly recommend Magical Pond. It’s a place where nature, comfort, and hospitality come together to create an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the owners for their hospitality and kindness. We can’t wait to return!

Finland is great. Views lovely. The staff were nice. We enjoyed Andy at dinner - he did a great job and was the highlight of the stay.

i was a bit dissapointed because there were no snow when we arrived but this place is just magical even with snow or not. I really enjoyed our stay, our little walk in the wilderness, the breakfast, everything was great. Hoping to come back 🫶

There's plenty to do in the surrounding area, too. Whether you're into hiking, exploring local attractions, or just soaking in the serene environment, there's something for everyone. Overall, my experience at the Magical Pond glass cabins was unforgettable, and I can't recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a magical escape.

Check in staff was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. Basic but enough. The igloo had a well fitted bathroom!

The location is a must, very suggestive, in the middle of the Forest. Other "Igloos" are spaced enough to be not too near. Modern structure. Very kind receptionist. Possibility of having breakfast to go since we left at 6:30.
