Thanks to Jojo and her team we had a very nice stay in Ruhengeri! Aside from our BNB-host, Jojo was also very helpful to let us discover the region and made suggestions what we could do, day by day. We were also kindy greeted by Hoki, the house dog! Nicely decorated and equiped stay with a delicious breakfast.

We stayed at Volcano view while traveling through Rwanda with a group of 4 adults and 6 children (2 families). Jorjo’s house was our base for trips to twin lakes, golden monkey hike and bisoke hike. Jorjo and her team made us feel very welcome and at home. It was very handy Jorjo has a lot of connections and suggestions. It was very rainy when we where there. The service to clean our shoes after hikes was amazing. We stayed in for a lovely home cooked dinner for one night ($15 pp). The kids loved being able to play some basketball, play with Carice and the dog. We can recommend staying at Volcano View!

“A welcoming and homely stay in a nice area near the city”

A comfortable guesthouse, homely and welcoming. The staff are friendly and very willing to accommodate my requests. I was able to make tea, use the fridge and prepare snacks in the guesthouse kitchen. Breakfast was cooked when requested, including one very early start, or packed up. It included the usual eggs and fresh fruits, but nice brown bread was also available. Room 1 is large and faces a small garden at the front. Furnishings are adequate but nothing fancy. The bed is comfortable. Wifi is good. Outdoor seats on the front terrace are a nice feature. The self- contained annex is recently built and very contemporary and attractive.

The owners made us feel very welcome we felt like we had come home. We were given great information on the area and activities. We hadn’t made plans to see the gorillas and Issac helped us greatly to make the arrangements to see them. We thank both Issac and Jojo for being great hosts and we hope to come back again .

I was planning to stay one or two nights at Volcano View but ended up staying 5 nights. The rooms are spacious, clean and cozy in a nice house in a residential area. The neighborhood is quiet but yet not so far away from the city center (just a short walk). Isaac and his team have been wonderful hosts. They helped me plan my visits to the Volcanoes National Park and easily arranged transport for the four days I spent there. Everyday my breakfast was on the table at 6am and by 6h30 my lift was ready to take me to the park. I highly recommand this B&B!

There are only 4 or 5 rooms so staying at Volcano View is like coming home. Nice and clean rooms, chill terrace, supernice staff and Isaac - the owner - is very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you for everything!

Friendly staff, modern, clean room with gorgeous bed. Complimentary tea in the afternoon. They made me breakfast at 6am before I had to leave at 6.30am for my hike… just what I needed for a one night stay
