Spacious room, good sound proof windows, fitted mosquito nets in window, kitchenette. Decent bed. Everything nice and new. Good value for money.

“The owner is a scammer!”

In evening before our arrival I sent a request to the property with desired check in hour at 22:00. The Booking app allows to choose this hour of check in. Next day were traveling all day in mountains sometimes without internet and of course not checking mailbox during vacation. We arrived to the Living Hallertau exactly on time at 22:00 and was absolutely surprised to discover there is nobody in reception and the hotel with locked doors. We called immediately to the number appeared in reservation but only got a recorded automatic message. We did a long way from Austria alps was very tired and didn’t expect this situation. We met some guest entering the hotel and asked him for help. He had mobile phone of the property owner so he called him and the owner told that because we didn’t came until 20:00 he rebooked our rooms to another guest and didn’t have any free rooms. We was totally shocked and disappointed from this answer! The owner lives just a minute walk distance from hotel and may leave for us keys in the secure boxes that he have especially in cases like this + opening instructions. This is very common practice in this situation but unfortunately he choose inappropriate behavior for charging the double price for these rooms! The owner sent me email during the day but as noted above I couldn’t seeing it and being know that we asked to arrive at 22.00 not even trying to call as or at least to send a message or whatsup and instead harry up the resell the rooms just before our arrival. We called to Booking costumer service hoping they can find some solution for us but it was around 23:00 and any hotel available wasn’t around. We got a morning flight next day so this was a reason we booked a hotel as close as possible to airport. We didn’t find any choice and being so tired after very hard day stayed sleeping in our rented car four adult people. This behaviour of the owner is absolutely unacceptable!

“Quite and sparkling clean”

Clean and spacious apartments in quite neighborhood. The location was good for me. It's around 30 min drive to Ingolstadt Village Outlet, and around 30 min drive to the airport. Almost 1 hour drive to Munich. It's not a problem if you have a car. The apartment is clean with small kitchenette with all necessary equipments. The living room contains a sofa bed. The ground floor apartment was good for my kids as there was a direct access to the garden with nice view. The value for the money is excellent. There is a nearby supermarket which is around 5 min drive. The staff are super nice and very kind. Thanks a lot for your hospitality and smile. Definitely I'd come again. .

It was ok for 2 adults and a 6 month old baby. We stayed one night on our way to italy. It seemed clean, there was no noise that bothered us.

“A great stay - would absolutely recommend!”

I had an excellent experience at Living Hallertau. Mr. Bauer is a great host - extremely welcoming and friendly. He is always checking if you are fine and helps with anything. He is also flexible to your schedule and 24h available. The rooms are super clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. View from my room was great, kitchen fully equipped, great mattress! Everything was really pleasant :)
