Location and people!

It is near the old town and city center, but very quiet and nice.

Location to the old town was an easy ten minute walk and our room was spacious.

Do you enjoy staying at a hotel where you feel like you’re part of the family and not just a guest? Then, staying at the Villa Dobravac Wine Estate in Rovinj is the place for you. We spent five night there in September and felt like a departing family member when we left. The hotel is perfect situate above Rovinj, so that from their cozy patio, or their wine tasting room, you’ll have a wonderful view of Rovinj. Our modern room well appointed and featured a window looking out over Rovinj, a comfortable bed, and an amazing bathroom, much larger than most in Europe. Did you noticed I mentioned a tasting room? They produce their own line of wines right there on site. We enjoyed each of the local varieties. Luca, who serves as host and tasting room manager pleasantly greeted us each day and talked to us about the area and the wines. Luca and the entire staff are to be commended for their hospitality. As far as the location, don’t be put off because it’s not in the city center. The walk into Rovinj is easy (we’re in our 60s) and there are a places to park your car for when you go exploring the nearby hilltowns like Motovun. There are also a few restaurants with in minutes walking distance, notably, Konoba Nonna Marija and Veranda on the Sea. Therefore, if you arrive later in the day you don’t have to go into the city center for dinner. When we return to Rovinj, we will be sure to return to the Villa Dobravac Wine Estate!

“Mostly a pleasant stay :)”

The view here is breathtaking, as the estate is situated on the hill and you can see the Rovinj old town from here. I would like to also thank all the staff that cared for our needs and although we were a little confused by the accommodation itself, they handled the situation professionally enough for our short stay to be enjoyable.

“Best hotel in Rovinj with super aura”

Everything was fine. The hotel is really beautiful and placed close to the center, only few minutes of walk to the old town. The building is modern and well equipped. It was a big plus point to have parking space. All the colleagues were really nice and helpful, every day smiling and helping with any kind of question, request. The room was better than expected, we received bigger room with a marvelous view to the old town, it was a big extra for us. I highly recommend for everyone, who want to come to Rovinj, also we will come back when we can :)

“Great location near old town with free parking”

Great location with free parking close to old town - easy walk. Enjoyed the breakfast with good variety and catered to gluten free. Room with balcony did not have much of a view, but balcony was under cover so good when it rained- which it did! Would stay again.

“Very good place to stay in Rovinj”

Villa is perfectly located between the old town and the beach. Not crowded with tourists and with amazing view from the terrace to the old town of Rovinj. Personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not so rich of different dishes, but still very good: local fruits and vegetables served. We were provided with beach towels on request.

The stuff was very kind and helpful. For the breakfast they are using mostly their own vegetables grown by themselves. The whole place very familiar and cozy.

“Family run hotel in a quiet location with fantastic views of Rovinj”

We liked the size of the hotel. Small and very friendly and helpful staff. It was clean and very comfortable beds. We Particularly enjoyed wine tasting with Luca who was so knowledgeable ! Make sure you ask for a room at the front of the hotel if you want to see the spectacular view of Rovinj.

Stayed in duplex apartment, really spacious with balcony views over to Rovinj and the sea. Lovely big bathroom. Was nice to have a continental breakfast on terrace overlooking gardens and sea.whilst out of old town, it's only a 15 min walk to Rovinj harbour area. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. We did a wine tasting which was a nice evening and bought some fresh tomatoes from the little shop which sells their produce which were so tasty.

“Relaxing location yet close to the town”

Lovely property with excellent rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a more individual experience. A really nice selections of wines available to taste too. Even the cat and dog were friendly.

The location was a short walk to old town and very conveniently located. We had a car so being able to park at the hotel was great. The breakfast was a nice well rounded offering each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The local wine that they make and sell at the hotel is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.
