Excellent hotel, beautiful location, lovely staff and facilities. Very good value for money.

“Hotel Katarina, Rovinj”

This was our second stay at Hotel Katarina. We returned because it is a fabulous location, everything is really well organised, the staff are so attentive and helpful, we particularly like the fact that you can only get on and off the island by ferry. Rovinj is a beautiful old coastal town, it is clean and safe, not plagued by stag or hen parties, it is a place to chill and watch the world go by.

Location

Boat transfer (free for the hotel guests) gives you an extra experience. Island is small, but accessible. Good for the off-season period, when you do not expect to swim because the beach is very limited... ideal for walking / jogging.

This is Maistra Island Hotel Katarina, and the value for money is hard to beat. Friendly and professional staff, excellent food, total relaxation. You'll go home feeling genuinely recharged. The island was beautiful and the views were amazing. Nice large rooms and everything was spotlessly clean and taken care off. Staff were amazing and the baggage handler was extremely helpful and caring during our incident on the boat.

An interesting, charming place with a beautiful view of the town or the sea. The ferry connection ensures privacy and avoids unnecessary contact. The place positively surprised me with its intimacy, park-like character, and the peace resulting from the complete absence of cars and bystanders.

The Island is beautiful, plenty of areas to relax in peace, the view is outstanding of Rovinj. Boats were always on time.

We loved the location, as being on an island was novel, nicely private and fun. We also had a perfect view of the city center. The breakfast was also excellent.
