“Wonderful homely, comfortable stay with genuine hosts”

I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Dea and would happily stay there again! Radmila and Martin are wonderful hosts who made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. They were warm, attentive and caring throughout my stay, and it felt more like staying with family than simply renting a room. Although they don't speak English, we communicated perfectly well using a few words of German and Google Translate. The room was immaculately clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything I needed. The kitchenette was very useful, the wifi was reliable, and the air conditioning and wall fan both worked perfectly. The decor is traditional, exactly as shown in the photos. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the shower was always hot with excellent water pressure regardless of time of day. The property has a lovely, well-maintained garden, and the jasmine growing by the entrance creates the most beautiful fragrance whenever you enter - something I found delightful. As I was attending the annual salsa festival and coming and going at non-standard times, I rarely saw the hosts after check-in, but they provided extra towels from the start and encouraged me to contact them via WhatsApp if I needed anything. Whenever I did, they responded almost immediately and were incredibly helpful, even providing ice, a larger mug for my morning tea and accommodating a late check-out despite incoming guests. They even graciously offered and give me a lift to a nearby location after check-out. The guesthouse is about a 20-minute walk from Rovinj's centre (or a short taxi ride) and only around 10 minutes from the beach and seafront cycle path. Just remember that Villa Dea is a guesthouse rather than a hotel, so it's good for guests to set their expectations accordingly. If you're looking for genuine hospitality, spotless accommodation and caring hosts, I highly recommend it! I would 100% stay here again and hope to meet them again.

Our stay at Villa Drs was spectacular. It's like a little paradise. The room itself is great, spacious and clean. The bed and pillows are super comfy, which isn't always the case. The bathroom is big, with a lot of shelves and hooks which is always the problem. We rented a room, not an apartment, so we didn't have a cooker, which wasn't the problem. We had a microwave, a kettle, a fridge and a coffee machine, which was all we needed. Unlike other studios, this one has a separated dining area and another table outside, in a beautiful garden. This garden is a real gem. There is a plenty of space with sun beds, and even a "summer kitchen". It's really romantic in the evening.. The villa is really close to the one of the best beaches in Rovinj (Cuvi) and a beautiful park. Mr and Mrs Hrelja (the owners) were always there to help us. They're wonderful people and you can see on every step that they do everything the best way possible. They really care about the people staying there and they keep everything super clean. I definitely strongly recommend this place.

“Nice place in a good position”

This lovely apartment is located in the middle of the greenery, it is very well equipped and location is perfect for the beach. It is also possible to go by foot to the old town or you can go by taxi for about 10 euros. The owners are extremely nice people and they make even better your holidays. We saw cats around the garden and three turtles. If you come once here you will wish to come back again.

The place is beautiful, a big garden full of flowers. The owners are a lovely and kind couple ready to help. Very close to the center in car. Close supermarkets and amazing beaches. Very clean room and spacious.

“Great quiet location if you want to be near a beach but close enough to the hustle & bustle of Rovin”

Lovely location for Cuvi beach and access to the rest of the coast and park. Also walkable into town and harbour with lots of restaurants and great food. Very comfortable stay with everything you'd need. A nice outside area in the garden to eat and relax. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and ensuring we had what we needed. Even for my birthday gave us fruits and flowers from the garden for breakfast, a sweet gesture.
