“Good property inside the City Walls and Old Town”

We recently stayed at Prinzhotel in the Old Town of Rothenburg and found this to be a good property inside City Walls near the Roderturm tower and gate entrance. Check-in handled expediantely upon arrival. They have luggage storage, limited parking near the hotel. Note there is a fairly large carpark lot just outside Roderturm, around 400 metres from the hotel. Prinzhotel has a restaurant and cocktail bar. It is around 6-8 minute walk to Marktplatz. Basically you can walk to all major attractions around the Old Town from here with ease. Our room was fine, fair amount of space, beds generally comfortable. Rooms gets a bit hot during warmer days. Fan is provided to help circulate the air, no A/C. Room includes really small desk space, TV, closed and open closet space for hanging clothing, extra seating chair, stocked fridge. Bathroom space is fine, fixtures worked perfectly.

The hotel was walking distance from the train station and an easy walk to the center. It is right next to the walls so lovely view. Very quiet and a large room with friendly staff.

The breakfast was mentioned as compliment when i book in booking.com but it was not there (not sure why). as we stayed family of 3, they gave 3 separate beds, rather i would expect a king size bed (idea for couple) + a kinder bed

Clean and spacious, and after walking around all the streets, I think this hotel is the best choice for accommodation in this beautiful historic city.

Excellent breakfast. Shame bar wasn’t open (seasonal I think, just after New Year ), but at least the rooms had a mini bar

This hotel was ideally placed right next to the city wall and was a short walk to all the sights. Not noisy and staff were so friendly.

Prinzhotel at Rothenburg was absolutely fantastic. Lovely big room, good shower. Everything was so comfortable. A great location. Staff were wonderful.

Within the city wall. Very clean and spacious. Staff friendly expedited the check in for my kids. Didn’t try breakfast but overall experience great

Very clean, tidy and close to square. Owner of this hotel are awesome. He is and his wife is very friendly , hospital and smiley at all times. They are Biker friendly, and helped me a lot storing my bike. They are also great bikers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

Noisy. Thin walls. Very little powerplugs. Only 1 at the door.

Excellent location, just inside the city wall but perfectly situated next to a large parking area. Good service and a really nice evening meal. Room was spacious and modern decoration.

Warm and comfortable and a great location in the historic centre but close to the railway station too. I have rarely slept so well, really quiet room despite being so central. Good views from the rooms of the famous city walls.
