Pension Freund is a family-run guest house, quietly located a 5-minute walk from Rothenburg ob der Tauber’s historic Market Square. The Main Train Station is a 15-minute walk away. Owner was very attentive. She prepared the breakfast according to our preferences. Location of the pension was close to the parking lot and on a quiet corner inside the walls. It was worth the money.

The location is fantastic! It’s a cute little traditional property a short walk from the train station. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Our host was really accommodating, letting us drop our bag and take the key early before the room was ready. Nice simple, plentiful continental breakfast. After dinner, you can walk the ramparts to lead you back to the property.

The location was fantastic, inside the old town but away from the bustle. A nearby hole in the city wall provided a shortcut to the nearby supermarkets. Our host made us feel welcome and took great care of us. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was just inside the walled area but also adjacent to P1 parking area. The apartment was roomy with main bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The host was excellent.
