We've travelled all over the world and this was the quietest, most peaceful hotel room that we've ever experienced. We slept well every night. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very filling. Most important of all is that the staff, without exception, were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The ideal hotel makes you so relaxed that you feel truly at home. Hotel Burgartenpalais achieved this the moment we walked in the door. The super-friendly staff, the fantastic decor and olde-worlde charm of this wonderful hotel made for a great stay. The room was superb - spacious and with great view, beds were so comfortable and breakfast was simple but high quality. Location superb too - right next to lovely BurgGarten, the city walls and also centre shops/restaurants.

Location is really convenient within the old town with a short walk to the centre. Hotel has a safe car park to the rear, which for us was essential. The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but advised of an excellent one very nearby.

“Rothenburg Adventure”

The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of meats, breads, yoghurt, fresh vegetable and fruit. The staff was amazing, bringing fresh coffee in personal little kettles and made to order eggs. We chose soft boiled and they were perfect! The coffee was delicious! I overheard others ordering cappuccino as well, but we just had regular coffee. The staff secured our bags so we could explore the city after checkout and even ordered us a taxi to get us to the train station on time. The room was beautiful, spacious, warm and clean. I really enjoyed having my own blanket. The beds were firm and I slept through the night like a baby. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely return!

Very nice central hotel with space outside the door to enable drop-off for luggage. Very good parking - in spite of the position right in the middle of the old town! A well kept hotel with friendly reception, comfortable rooms (including beds) - and reasonably sized. Good breakfast.
