Everything about this place was perfect. From a very hospitable host, to elegantly appointed and comfortable room, parking, and restaurant. Location was a stone's throw away from the main gate to the old town. Would highly recommend this property. Outstanding ❤️

Staff and business owner wonderful. Small but very good rooms. Perfectly situated for the old town. Breakfast was good and very nicely presented. We have stayed here in the past. It has a new owner and the care and commitment shows.

“Enjoyable 3 night stay in Rothenburg”

Great location 1 minute walk from the city wall. Easy parking at the hotel. Felt very welcome and nice to sit down in front of the hotel with a cold beer after walking around Rothenburg on a hot day. Bathroom was small but everything worked and was very clean.

Everything! Room was fabulous, big bathroom with a bath as well! Thoughtful touches such as lovely bath salts (great for soaking sore feet!), and a scented candle. Well situated just by an old gate to the town. Welcoming hosts and excellent breakfast.

“Decent experience”

The location is excellent — you can reach the city center within a few minutes on foot. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and access to the hotel is quite easy. The availability of free parking is a great advantage, especially for guests who traveling by car.

Convenient location, 10 mins to a massive shopping mall with supermarket, restaurants and pharmacy. 10 mins to old town.

“Great location for access to the Old Town of Rothenberg”

The location to the old town of Rothenberg was excellent. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not supportive enough The bathroom facilities were good

Was very warm day and in room. Suggest owners provide a free standing fan or similar in room for these occasions.

Overall nice experience

needed fans or air conditioning. Was hot, so we had to go and buy fans ourselves to keep the room bearable.

Cute guest house, very close to all attractions. We are sorry we didn't get the breakfast.

Perfect location 100m from the city gate, very close to historic centre, nice and cosy room in an old historic house. The owner is very sweet gentleman. The room had a lot of electric sockets (sometimes there is not enough in hotel rooms, but thisone had plenty). Also private parking behind the hotel is a great benefit.

“Quaint, traditional hotel, perfectly positioned to enjoy Rothenburg old town”

The very best location, right in front of one of the main gates to the old town. We were up on the medieval wall in minutes! Got plenty of exercise traversing the old town via the solid, wooden and stone wall and the beautiful streets below and all for free! Huge room, classically furnished with twin sinks in the en-suite. Fabulous old, wooden staircase. Restaurant across the road serving traditional meals. Free, safe parking behind was much appreciated

“Great location”

Great location, near to train station and old town. We were in a room in the building out the back. No lift so it was an effort with our cases. Nice big room and bathroom, with shower and bath. City walls very close, easy walking distance.
