The family-run Gasthof Post is located just 150 metres from Rothenburg Train Station, and 500 metres from the Old Town. It offers quiet rooms, a garden and a daily breakfast buffet. All of the rooms at the Gasthof Post feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a work desk and a small bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. “Well-located, good value hotel with excellent restaurant facilities.”
Good location, just steps from the train station and only a short walk to the historic town centre. The room was adequate with a small ensuite bathroom - the steep stairs to the second floor might challenge some visitors. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and I also ate at the hotel restaurant which offered local cooking at a reasonable price.

“Extremely clean”
We have been doing a road trip across the Alps and Germany, and this so far is the cleanest Hotel we have been this year. Usually I have allergies to dust mite, and this time I had no problem at all. The checkin was great and very flexible as I arrived late.

This was a perfect spot about a 10 minute walk from the old town. Rotenburg ob der Tauber was such a special place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

“Perfect stay in a fairytale city”
We booked a room for 5, which is very difficult to find in the area, and everything was perfect. Spacious, clean, well equipped. Location is very quiet and just 10 min walking from the historic center.
