This family-run hotel is a 17th-century building at the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber's historic quarter, beside the old town walls. Traditional German cuisine is served here. “Great value central stay.”
Excellent location just a short walk to market square. Very clean and comfortable. We booked a family room, however they kindly offered us 2 rooms when we arrived. Very Good value in comparison to other accommodation in town. Would recommend.

“Good location, room too small”
Room was tiny. We had to move furniture around to get to the bed. Bathroom was even more tiny. It didn't look like this on the website

I booked 3 days before and asked for a late check in. The hotel accepted the booking but refused the late check in. I instantly informed them to please cancel the first night. They acknowledged this. The next day I adjusted on booking.com. Hotel advised it was too late. Don’t think it was fair and very opportunistic view to customers.

“Good location and value for money”
Good location on the inside of the fortified walls, close enough to the old town. Room was on the small size but was comfortable. Room was warm and the shower worked well. Nice top room

Very nice newly refurbished room with quality fittings and decor. Very spacious and well fitted bathroom. Very nice Dinner in the hotel Dining room with traditional german dishes. Good breakfast as well.

“Great Hotel with nice position”
Wonderful hotel, the rooms are much nicer than the pictures convey. We had room 214, modern, warm and comfortable. Staff is very nice, breakfast and food available in the restaurant is great. Loved the bathroom with the wooden style tiles and rainforest shower head. We got fresh towels every day and room service was great. Totally recommended!
