we loved Tenuta di Spannocchia! The only, ONLY thing that could improve a bit were the breakfasts - not too much options for vegetarians.. some cheese would be great and maybe a scramble :-) other than that - we had the best stay!

Great spot to tour Tuscany from. The house was age appropriate for where it is located. Rustic, simple but comfortable. Cooked every meal in, better equipped than most. Outdoor grilling was perfect. The main property is just a short stroll up the road. We did not try the restaurant or use the pool. The nearby town of Rosia had a big grocery store, gas stations, restaurants etc.

“Amazing”
I was travelling as a young woman alone and stayed for a long week in this place. It was truly phenomenal! Toscane at his best. The surroundings, the nature, the staff, the rooms, it was all perfect. Could not have wished for a better place. You can have dinner if you want or lunch and you can tell the staff on the day you want to join. Lots of other guests join as well. I made friends and never felt alone. Swimming pool is very clean. Breakfast was simple, but good.

The setting was beautiful.  The room was historic, large and very comfortable. It was a very interesting place. Lovely atmosphere at evening dinner. Nice food.

“Unique and perfect place to stay in Tuscany”
Loved our stay at Tenuta. The location was perfect, 1.5 hrs from Florence, 2hrs to Pisa, 1 hr to Siena. It was a great base. The reserve is I believe 1,000acres and a working farm. All food on the estate except cheese is grown/raised there. They have only opened up recently to tourists as an added revenue stream, previously all interns looking at learning organic farming/wine making, so felt they were not great at promoting/marketing themselves and their wonderful wine and food. The houses are rustic, when we stayed there was the crazy heat wave and fans were not sufficient to cool down. The estate is gorgeous and has so much history. We did the cooking class while there and would highly recommend it, it was so much fun. Started at 9am in the garden and finished eating at 2.30. Would highly recommend staying here as so unique and everyone so friendly.

receptionist Sophi and the other staff were very friendly and helpful. the classic decor is lovely and common area is very comfortable if you don’t wanna stay in your room. dinner with other guest was absolutely fantastic!!!

“Dreamy Tuscan paradise accomodation, don't miss!”
This place is heaven on earth, just that Tuscan dream stay you've been looking for. Staff should win an award for friendliness and the setup is just so cosy with a joint dinner for everyone in the evening, that begins with an aperitivo. Lots of common areas that you can use to read or just hang out. Will recommend this place to everyone traveling in the region.

“The best Tuscan escape”
This accommodation made all our Tuscan villa dreams come true. It is perfect for a couple of nights away to unwind, connect with nature and enjoy wonderful home cooked food. They also run activities which you can participate in during the week. Our room was very spacious and charming. The staff were very lovely and helpful.
