We enjoyed the location, beautiful garden and spacious facilities. The rooms were well appointed and the bedding was very comfortable. The best feature was the outdoor lapa area with full kitchen, indoor fireplace, dining table, chairs and its own bathroom.

“Rosedale Cottage - AMAZING!”

The 1st thing I said was,'The pictures don't do it justice!' Greeted by friendly faces and an amazingly manicured garden that appears to go on forever. The massive cottage has old-style farmhouse charm with all the modern amenities that a family needs. Large bedrooms with plenty of clean linen and blankets. WiFi. DSTV premium. Fully fitted kitchen. 2.5 bathrooms. The BOMA is an amazing feature - situated at the lower garden; it's completely enclosed with a loft, braai, bar AND toilet/shower - essentially a separate 'fun house' that also has it's own crockery, gas stove etc. All in all, the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer. Ester and Mark ensured that our stay (4 adults and a 5 Yr old) was as comfortable and restful as possible. A welcomed respite from work and the bustling city life.

Everything was just top class

What a lovely stay. Ester was such a good hostess and went out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and knew where everything was. We spent my brother's surprise 50th get together there and could not have asked for a more comfortable or convenient stay. It's close to a lot of the surrounding attractions which makes it an ideal place to stay at. The evenings were spent in the boma/lapa that was fully equipped with everything in it, so there was no need for carting of cutlery etc to be taken from the main house. I would highly recommend the Rosedale self-catering cottage to everyone needing accommodation in the midlands meander. Once again, thank you Ester for your hospitality and friendly, caring nature, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Ester and Mark went out of their way to help us where they could and are very friendly and hospitable, I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family.
