Absolutely beautiful and tranquil. We loved it. Very Cosy and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We even got cupcakes on arrival which my son loved. Really a hidden gem in the midlands.

Extremely freindly host. Very nice place to come and relax. The weather was freezing but the cottage was cozy with a lovely fireplace, heaters and hot water bottles in the rooms . Lovely warm duvets on the beds.

Loved the attention given to detail and to making us comfortable. An excellent hostess felt more like a cozy B&B than a self catering cottage. Everything was provided. Top Cleanliness. Flowers in all spots were noticed and appreciated. Blankets left by the couch for cold evenings. Welcome cake and local garlic / Ginger and fresh lemons were delicious and so welcoming. Even the toilet paper (some places have to beg for more) - everything was in excess - fully and over provided. Denise was incredible and her attention to our family being comfortable and having all the info we need for the area. Warm and welcoming - we are going back for sure! Top Rating! Best Value! Quaint peaceful area. Just up the road and from distance could see the Drakensberg mountains with snow. Cows visiting so close my kids were ecstatic. Loved this place - thank you Denise!

Our accommodation had a beautiful view outside and everything we needed was in the cottage. The host was amazing and so thoughtful. Denise even spoilt us with a chocolate cake for Easter. Communication was great.

It was very peaceful and quiet. Access to places of interest and things to do was very convenient. All the facilities were great and there was plenty of space. The wifi was a big advantage for the kids while Dad was fishing... The view at sunrise is spectacular as well!!

The Hilltop Farm is an absolute treasure. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Denise is a lovely host - so helpful and caring. The location is just 10-15 minutes from Nottingham Road, with beautiful views.
