“This is our second visit and will be sure to book again!”

Beautiful farmhouse with ample space and extremely comfortable beds. Tamsin made sure to get the fires going before our arrival which was appreciated as it was a cold weekend. We didn't get to explore the farm this time but will do so on our next visit.

The cottage was well equipped and very spacious. A welcoming fire greeted us and the beds all had electric blankets and were comfortable. Lovely big rooms with high ceilings. Verandah was big with nice cosy chairs and a big flat garden for the children to play in. All in all a great place to stay. We will definitely go back.

The spacious house easily accommodated our family and the furnishings created a homely feeling. We were impressed with the cleanliness and general appliances available. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed the farm setting. We’ll definitely go back.

The home was beautiful and spacious and it’s part of a working dairy farm; which is very quiet and serene.

Loved the style of the house and the wonderful kitchen amenities. Absolutely enjoyed the delicious milk provided by the gracious hosts :) The garden is gorgeous with really beautiful huge trees, spacious and perfect for family picnics on the lawn and play for kiddies.

Crompton Cottage itself is wonderful and set in gorgeous surroundings. The house was very spacious, easily accommodating our party of 8 adults with room to spare. The house was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and the hosts very welcoming. Thank you Tamsin and Ashleigh for making our stay memorable. Our expectations were exceeded at every turn. I would highly recommend Crompton Cottage for a family getaway.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, this is the place to go to. Situated on a dairy farm, our hosts treated us to fresh milk on a daily basis and gave the family an insight into the operation of the farm.

Crompton Cottage was everything we wanted. An escape from Gauteng to the most beautiful old farmhouse. Absolutely 100% clean and luxurious, fitted with everything you need. Tamsin was a wonderful host. We will definitely be back.

Honestly one of the greatest places I have ever been to ! The hosts were incredible , when you left there you felt like part of the family. The house is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way , it had everything that we need. It is a working dairy farm so it was awesome to get a tour of how it works and to see how happy and well looked after the cows are. I know for a fact that we can not wait to go back Tamsin and Ross you guys are Amazing , thanks for making our girls trip an unforgettable one.
