“Enjoyed our stay at Rosebud Beach Unit!”

We loved our stay at 'Rosebud Beach Unit'! It's super clean, had all the things we needed and the kids particularly loved playing connect four, even our 3 year old. The paddle board and bodyboard was such a treat as well for the kiddos. Communication with Ian, our host was great and we had all the information needed for a comfortable stay. The late check out was definitely a bonus and appreciated as it allowed us to spend a bit more time at the beach prior to heading back to Melbourne. Would love to stay again!

“Perfect family get away for young families and the elderly”

It was like walking into a fully equip home. Board games, beach equipment, lots of storage space and a full kitchen from baking to cling film! Everything you could possibly need. We picked some herbs from the garden to add to our breakfast. It made life a lot easier travelling with a toddler and elderly mum. The play ground down the back of the unit complex was an absolute bonus! Easy to walk the kiddies down have a BBQ and site relaxing with a glass of wine while they play in the 2 story cubby house, swings, slide, boat or draw on the black board. Nicely shaded under some very large well established trees. Directly across from the beach and a short walk to the foreshore play ground with Ice cream shops and restaurants! Great communication from our hosts with a bonus late check out! A stones throw away from coles the chemist and kmart! Lots of room for family/friends to come over for dinner and get togethers.

Location is superb, cross the road is the beach. Supermarkets are near by, close to town centre. Owner is very friendly, gave us tips on where to go, things to do etc.

Ian’s beach unit is a simple and well located unit for our group who were at the peninsula for a marathon swim event. The kitchen was well equipped and so was the home. Great place for a family holiday too.

Firstly the hosts Ian and Amanda have kept this beautiful gem so homely and clean, providing all essentials even cooking ingredients..I found a lovely welcome home grown tomatoes from the vines in the front garden as a extra treat.. to make my stay nice. Ian made a huge effort to stay in contact and provide me with no stress about payment issues and getting relaxed. He price matched a cheaper BnB i mentioned so I could stay extra time. This little holiday home helped me to find a happy place within. To enjoy the local pretty and convenient spots. Then come back to a cosy place. I am very grateful I found it and hope to return. “Great little beach house”

Fantastic location, easy walk across to the beach and a leisurely stroll along the beach to the pier. Ian was an excellent host and very easy to contact. The house has everything you need, kitchen is fully functional with plenty of utensils. I liked that there was ample space to dry all of our beach towels. Highly recommend.

Great location. Was handy having basics like washing powder. Handy we didn’t need to bring our own linen. Great family friendly accommodation. Owner very helpful and shared lots of great information. Responsive to requests. Even the neighbours were friendly and helpful.

The unit was impeccably clean, had everything a family needs along with extra touches like a night light, games, chrome cast and basic pantry and kitchen items. Ian was an incredible host especially considering our very late notice. Shared lots of local information to make our stay super fun. We loved the little park and picnic table on site for our 5yo and if we had older kids the boogie boards and paddle board would’ve been so fun! There is a cafe within walking distance called ‘The Hideout, Eat, Drink, Play’ that had excellent fun and healthy kids meals and their all day breakfast was incredible. A cubby house full of fun stuff and very family friendly staff. We weren’t expecting to need another two nights in the area so we were grateful to find such a great house and a great host. Highly recommend.
