“Hidden Gem with Heart in the Capital”

This was an excellent place to stay in Roseau—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully set up. The apartment was well-appointed and located in a quiet, local residential area with convenient corner stores nearby for basics. The main part of town is within walking distance. Our hosts were terrific—friendly and very helpful. Knowing we were arriving late by ferry with restaurants closed, they stocked the fridge with eggs, drinks, and even a couple of beers, which we really appreciated. A great experience all around!

“Exploring the Nature Isle”

The host Annette was super friendly. We arrived after 9pm as we had a late flight, which was no problem. We even found some welcome drinks and water in our fridge. The apartment was very nice and cozy, we felt right at home. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living room and terrace were comfy, bathroom was clean. The bed was a little small, so if you need quite some space during your sleep, prepare for close encounters (which we managed without fighting for the blanket). Roseau is a good home base for exploring some of the sights around, like hiking to Middleham Falls or Titou Gorge, or exploring the south through Champagne Reef down to Scotts Head. But as it's a big city for Dominica and the port for cruise ships, the city itself isn't that pretty.

I enjoyed my stay. The location was safe and very convenient, walk into Roseau within 10 mins. The hosts Swin and Annette were on hand and very helpful. The apartment itself was clean, quiet, well ventilated with AC and a fan. I appreciated the bonus of a lightly stocked fridge and cupboards as well as a welcome of two little pineapples. A lovely touch. Everything I needed was there. Thank you Swin and Annette!

Accommodation with everything one could wish for, quite room, good a/c's, spotless. Above all, the hosts: the best I encountered so far in my multi-country Caribbean trip!

The attention to detail and the little extras provided makes this apartment great value for money. Annette and Swin were great hosts and made our stay extra special. Great location for exploring Roseau and the surrounding countryside.

We absolutely loved our time here! The apartment is cozy, a great area to discover the whole island and many attractions are nearby. There's a mini market in walking distance and the kitchen provides everything you could imagine. We felt really welcome and enjoyed our stay! The hosts are super nice and helpful :)

“Home away from home”

I had a wonderful time at AnSwin Apartment. I felt right at home. The owners made me feel very welcomed! The place was very clean. They even provided some food supplies of yogurt, eggs, and bananas! How thoughtful. They really thought of the little details from salt, pepper, and cooking oil. There is a supermarket close by and a bus stop to go downtown. I highly recommend coming to Dominica and staying at the AnSwin Apartment.

The apartment is well appointed with everything you need. It is spotlessly clean; it has a large comfortable bed; the AC is very quiet and the small terrace is a welcome outside space. The hosts, Swin and Annette, made us so welcome and they were very helpful when we asked for advice about restaurants and places to go to. Dominica is a beautiful island and we would certainly rent this apartment if we visited again.

Our stay in this apartment was great. It's like a home away from home. Not only we had what we needed in the room/kitchen, the host also provided very detailed infomation about local restaurants, transportation, tour guide info, grocery stores etc. The apartment locates on the main road that you can easliy hop on a minibus to downtown. Conventient store and supermarket are in walking disctance too! The host was very infomative and he was also kind to drop us off to the minibus stop. We were thankful for all the help that he offered.

The host was very nice and welcoming, gave us advice for dinner and was very friendly and helpful. He had even bought some groceries for us (eggs and joghurt). The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped. I'd definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in the Roseau area.
