“Excellent Dominican guesthouse”

We loved the place! It is essentially a small guesthouse owned by local family. No problem with arrival, everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The room is great, spacious, clean, and additionally you get outside sitting space and access to well-equipped kitchen. The standard is above Dominica average and it was actually way above what we expected from the pictures. Location is good, though a rented car (or driver with a car) is a must. Highly recommended!

“Marvellous”

We loved all that we ate. Amanda and her family were kind and sweet. The place was great. We will come Back for sure.

Our stay here was perfect. The rooms and the entire place were clean and neat. The host, Amanda, is incredibly nice, polite, and friendly—always smiling and ready to help with anything. Her food was also delicious, though there is a kitchen available if you prefer to cook for yourself. We loved the music and the overall great vibe of the place. The location is ideal, as it’s close to all the interesting spots and adventures. This was definitely one of our best stays in Dominica, and we would highly recommend it

“Idyllic place”

Located in an idyllic valley out of town the little guesthouse is a lovely and cozy retreat, where you'll feel at home. Amanda was super nice, waited for me in town when I came from the airport, brought me to the property and brought me back to the ferry a few days later without asking any money. Her food is amazing too. The room was spotless clean, there is an adapter and some nice decos. Can only recommend it.

Amanda, Sally and Julian are the best hosts I ever had. I appreciated the very personal contact I had with them. Not to mention my date with Sally 😉.I enjoyed Amanda’s cooking. Her effort to introduce me to Creole cooking was priceless!

“Comfortable and well looked after”

Small but comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It had all that we needed. The kitchenette was perfect for preparing meals and outdoor common area was a bonus. Our host cooked a beautiful dinner and breakfast before we left. They were attentive and always very helpful including letting my wife help them prepare a meal. Excellent

“Highly recommended! Such an amazing place to stay.”

It’s such an amazing place to stay!! The inn is located in a perfect location, surrounded by lush mountainous landscapes. All the trailheads and things to do in the area are all within a 5-15 minute drive. The best thing though is the host family— so friendly and makes you feel so welcome and right at home!! There's also a kitchen with everything you'd need. I would recommend this inn it to anyone!

“Excellent value for money”

The property is a nice 3-room pension, one of the few in Trafalgar, in the middle of important sites to be visited. Host was very forthcoming, helpful and did extra's over what was to be expected. It is of course a mountain situation, so expect no AC, swimming pool or restaurant, but there is a nice shared patio kitchen with table where you can meet the other tenants. Very good value for money.
