Overview
This restored 18th-century building offers a bar, free Wi-Fi zone and modern apartments with well-equipped kitchenettes. It is located in Roncesvalles, a popular starting point on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route. Each Casa de los Beneficiados apartment is decorated in light colours, with original beamed ceilings. All have a living-dining room with a TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. The bar offers a special pilgrims’ set menu and can prepare packed lunches on request. A buffet breakfast is also available. The property includes a communal laundry room, and luggage storage and transport services can be arranged. The historic village of Roncesvalles is located in the Navarran Pyrenees, just 8 km from the French border. Pamplona is a 45-minute drive away. Casa de los Beneficiados offers free public parking.

“One night stay whilst cycling the Camino”
Friendly welcome, locked garage for bikes, (although rather full of electric of road bikes on charge!). Spacious apartment with living/kitchen area, bedroom & bathroom. Comfy bed and good shower. Nice 3 course dinner for €25 and excellent breakfast (€10). Lifts available to upper floors.

The modern apartment had three spacious rooms....living room and kitchen, large bedroom and large bathroom. Nice view into the courtyard. The kitchen had a fridge and stovetop. Lots of storage. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were very comfortable.

“Good place to stay after a long hike. Building has historical character.”
This is a standard hotel, not fancy but clean and located at the end of the trail (1st stage of the Camino de Santiago). Hotel has a bar and restaurant which were good and convenient. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

“Beautiful hotel on the Camino after crossing the Pyrenees”
Beautiful place on the Camino after crossing the Pyrenees. There are really a couple of different options in Roncesvalles after crossing the Pyrenees on the Camino: the lovely, simpler Hostel or a more comfortable single occupant hotel room. We chose the later, with the Casa de los Beneficiados. Well worth it. Nice room, very clean, spacious well stocked bathroom. Highlight was the restaurant, with pilgrim menu (salmon was delicious). Staff in hotel and restaurant were friendly, courteous, professional. Great conversations with all.
