“Great family apartment in monti”

Host was welcoming and informative. We arrived early but could drop our bags off at the apartment and could leave our bags there after check out for a couple of hours before our flight. Qe liked that the 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds - not many other apartments seem to have this. Location was good - quiet but walking distance to the key sites of rome. We didn't do much cooking/eating at the apartment but the kitchen equipment seemed to be good.

We were upgraded to the Savoy suite which was great as it has an additional bedroom & second bathroom. The apartment has all you may need, is close to important Roman highlights, restaurants and public transportation. The host is super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The location of the property was extremely convenient as it was close to eateries and a short walk to the Termini station. The place was well stocked with food and coffee and very clean.

“Perfect Roman business & pleasure trip”

In fact Salvatore - and there hardly can be any nicer and more available person (!) - upgraded us to the Prince suite. Metro station downstairs, my meeting place and lots of shopping & restaurants around the corner. For history lovers and religious people also everything near or reachable via metro. Spacious apartment, clean and everything worked. Made our stay fantastic.

The Avalon is a lovely two bedroom apartment in a great location. We travelled as a family of four adults and the apartment accommodated us comfortably. There is a large supermarket near by and a bakery to buy fresh cakes etc. if you wish to dine in the apartment. There are also plenty of restaurants near by should you wish to dine out. All the main tourist sights are easily accessible from the apartment. Most importantly, Salvatore is a wonderful host. He arranged our taxi transfer to and from the airport and was there to meet us with the keys when we arrived. He looked after us extremely well, above and beyond what we would have expected. I would be happy to recommend The Avalon to any visitors wishing to see the sights of Rome.

“Comfort in an ideal location”

As a family of four, we had the most wonderful stay in Rome thanks to Salvatore. Before booking, I read the reviews, and the one comment that stuck in my mind was how helpful Salvatore was. Well, upon booking the apartment, he sent me a message straight away and helped me plan the most wonderful weekend for my husband's birthday. He kindly upgraded us to the 3-bedroom apartment, which was The Savoy Suite. So firstly, this is a beautiful apartment with 1 bedroom containing a large double bed with an ensuite, Room 2 had twin beds, and Room 3 had these most comfortable bunk beds that I was tempted to take the bottom bunk. There is a large bathroom and everything you need provided. The same with the kitchen, all that you would need is provided. But I will highlight once again that the beds are so comfortable!!! Now location, this apartment is ideal for exploring Rome, it's only a 6-minute walk to Termini, which is great for the airport train and metro. The Colosseum is only a ten-minute walk away. The beauty is walking up to the Termini (central station) and 4 stops later, you're at the Vatican stop, and only a short walk then to the main building. Also ideal for the airport, as the train takes 32 minutes, so it's perfect for early flights. This apartment is ideal if you want comfort, like your space as a family, want to hop on a metro and wander, or perhaps if we were staying for another few days to take a train to Florence or Venice. There are also some lovely restaurants in the area, and you're only a few seconds away from fabulous shops and bars. I would highly recommend this apartment, and I will be back ……..but for longer this time.

The people operating the property couldn’t have been more helpful, I’ve never stayed anywhere else where we got attention like we did, the guys were brilliant. It was central to all we needed, train station 8min walk, Metro 6 mins walk, Good restaurants and bakery’s in every direction, 15min walk to the colosseum and other attractions

“Good location, helpful owners but very noisy, with old & rusty bathroom and not fully equipped”

- We really liked the family that is renting the apartment. Salvatore and his wife were very nice. - Check in was easy and he gave us alot of tips. - Also check out was very easy. - During the stay and before salvatore was very helpful. - I rate him and the way he handles things with a 10. - Also the location of the apartment was very good. Near termini by foot. Also very central and near the colloseum. - We liked cafe molino near the apartment, good breakfast and food in general (can recommend) - We always take apartments for our vacations around the world, so we have a lot of experience
