“One of the best hostels I've ever been to!”

ROOM: I was well impressed particularly with the AMOUNT OF SPACE in each room, and with EXCELLENT BUNK BEDS. Often bunk beds are noisy, creaky, unstable and give an "ok" sleep, but the person above me moved around and my bed did not creak nor shake. I obviously had earphones cos you never know when people are on the move, but even so I cannot remember a better sleep in a hostel!! Truly outstanding. BREAKFAST: it was free for me with Genius (Thank you Booking.com), but for 4 Euros it would have been worth it! It was clean and well stocked with a variety of cereals, pastries, fette biscottate, spreadable creams like nutella, jam, white chocolate sauce, honey; there was yogurt, coffee machine with many types of hot beverages, and a lovely welcoming lady behind the counter. I think locals also come to the cafe, which is really encouraging to see as it must have a positive impact on area and in the community. AREA: try local bakery Matrem, known for the Pangocciolo (a chocolate chip bun). I was gonna go back in the morning to try but plans changed. I had pizza for dinner and it was delicious. Don't eat with your eyes like I did, you definitely don't need more than a couple of slices... they are thin but super filling!

You can easily reach Roma Scout center by metro and there were also busses on different directions. The center itself IS nice and clean.

The hostel is very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is very clean, and the location is excellent—close to public transport and all the historical sites

This was the first place I stayed during my first visit to Rome. I accidentally made a duplicate booking, but the staff was incredibly warm and helpful in resolving the issue, providing me with very detailed check-in instructions. As a traveler from China staying in an Italian hostel for the first time, I felt quite anxious at first. However, those worries quickly vanished thanks to the host's sincere and enthusiastic hospitality. The place is exceptionally clean and tidy—something I value deeply. It is located in a safe and quiet residential area, just an 8-minute walk from Roma Tiburtina. All of this gave me such a positive experience and the confidence I needed for my first solo trip. I truly feel my journey began here at the Roma Scout Center.

The property isn’t super close to the city center, but it’s conveniently near the metro. There are buses and a train station nearby too. The area feels safe, the bed is really comfortable, and the room is spacious, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is decent. The only slight downside is it’s not right by the main tourist attractions. Other than that, I can’t find anything to complain about at all.

This was my first time staying in a dormitory and I had an absolutely lovely stay, the staff was really friendly and welcoming, the room was nice and above all it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I highly recommend:)

Everything clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked that the reception is open till late. I felt safe and the neighborhood is nice. It was my first solo trip and I loved it. I recommend!

Stayed here countless times one of the best hostels

I like the place, beautiful and clean. The bed is great not moving when someone on top is moving. The staff are great. The price is very good. I am very satisfied. Thank you.
