Overview
Hotel Villa Glori is in the residential Parioli district, next to the Tiber River. The tram to Flaminio Metro Station and Piazza del Popolo stops 200 metres away. The MAXXI Museum and the Flaminio Stadium are a 5-minute walk away. Staff at reception can offer tourist information and arrange transfers and tours. Wi-Fi is free throughout, and there is also an internet point. Rooms have parquet floors and light wooden furnishings. All air conditioned, they offer a TV with satellite channels and a minibar. “Completely disappointing experience with misleading accommodation and unprofessional customer servis”
Very disappointing experience. I booked a double room but was given a room with only a single bed, which was completely unacceptable. I was traveling for business, and the room was not suitable for work or for the stay I had specifically booked and paid for. The hotel refused to provide any refund — neither for the room nor even for the city tax — despite the fact that I ultimately did not stay at the hotel because the accommodation was not as advertised and did not meet basic expectations. Poor customer service, no flexibility, and no willingness to resolve the issue professionally. I would not recommend this hotel.

“A different district of Rome”
I liked the hotel. The location is not near the main tourist attractions of Rome, but close to the concert complex, where we visited the concert. The area is charming, interesting, different, local people live here, beautiful English-like architecture, there is a great modern art museum, you can also find inexpensive cafes and great shops, where prices are not aimed solely at tourists. The hotel is cozy, clean, the room is large, great, with a balcony, there is a coffee machine in the room. Good breakfast, standard for 4 stars. We recommend it to see a slightly different Rome. The best way to get to the center is by direct bus.

The room was very nice, we had the one with a balcony overlooking the street that is very quiet (no traffic there). We were able to park very close to the hotel for a good price and it was safe, no problem with the public parking. It is relatively close to the Plaza del Populo even if the frequency of trams could be higher.

The hotel is excellent; absolutely everything was perfect. The staff, the breakfast, the room and the bathroom especially, everything! I highly recommend staying at this hotel to everyone. And Valerio makes a great Aperol Spritz! 😉

Breakfast was great. The Hotel is close to the tram and can easily be reached. The Hotel is on the backside of la piccola Londra and very quite. We would stay there again.
