“Illegal practice”

Good location, clean room, everything you need as a tourist.

Communication with the owner was extremely bad. They only sent me information of how to get inside the building after I was already there. Then the inside (glass) door of the building was stuck and it took me half an hour to get inside the building, thanks to another resident who opened it from the inside. The phone number of the owner was always shut off and he replied to messages on Booking saying he'll be there, but I don't know when and if they came. The next day it was the external door (with the code) that didn't work, so I was stuck outside the building for another 20 min and when somebody opened it, I didn't know if I would be able to return back, in case I went out. So I lost at least an hour trying to figure that out. Meanwhile (even though it was the time that reception was supposedly available) the owner's phone was once more turned off and they replied to no Booking messages. Basically, they did nothing to fix the problem or reassure me. Apart from that, the room is in a very bad situation (tiles on the floor are peeling off, the bed is worn out), it is extremely small and it has no natural light. It was also not well cleaned with dust and hair in different parts of the room. The matress was also not good. I had stayed there once before but the condition of the room and of the building has severely deteriorated in the meanwhile. The biggest problem of course was the lack of access to the building and the complete and unacceptable lack of communication from the part of the owner. This room is to be avoided.

If we refer to the price, it was a good room. It has its own bathroom, a bed in which I slept well, silent refrigerator, the small imperfections are not to be taken into account. It is in a quiet area, close to the subway and tourist attractions. Near are good restaurants and anyway Rome doesn't let you stay too long in your room. I was pleased!

The location is great. The room was the 1st on the left - so very quiet, as it's looking somewhere at a back yard; good bed size, perfect for one-night business/meeting stay.

Perfect location, just 5 Minutes from Piazza del Popolo, a really good walking start to see most of the attractions in Rome. Comfortable and clean.
