“Quirky with style”

An absolute gem of a place in the hills. Yes the road and driveway are surprising but so worth it when you get there. Hostess just lovely. Aperatif then dinner within the hour of arriving, beautifully set dining table. It's quirky with style. Guest rooms are very spacious (we had our own salon as well), very clean, contemporary bathrooms, and super comfy bed. The whole experience is genuine including great breakfast in the farmhouse kitchen.

“Amazing”

Everything was wonderful, the accommodation was beyond our expectations. It's a beautiful, lovingly restored old house with a cozy garden and mountain views. You will find absolute silence, fresh air, and many peaceful spots to relax outdoors — charming chairs and hammocks. You can also take a walk along a maintained path to a bench with a stunning view. Montserrat is a lovely host and an outstanding cook. We ordered dinner and breakfast — both were excellent. We often go on weekend getaways to the mountains from Barcelona, and this masia was the best we've stayed at. Highly recommended!

“A great find.”

The accommodation was exceptional. You could be put off by the 7 mile drive up a very windy road and then another mile on a track to get to it but don't be. The room was very clean and very well presented. Despite us not speaking Cataluña or Spanish and the owner not speaking English we got by using Google translate. The food was excellent. We had the evening meal and breakfast and Montse (the owner) certainly knows how to cook. If you want to get away from "it all" this is the place. We also loved Nicolas & Matilda. The owners dogs. So friendly and so well behaved.

The house and the whole place is an absolute hidden gem. Beautiful , peaceful, the perfect timeless retreat. Montse is amazing and her food is delicious and great value for price. A tranquil rural environment. The house has been tastefully adapted for modern living without sacrificing its rustic charm. Montse was a charming host and her onion soup and Catalan Chicken was simply glorious, accompanied by delicious wines from the region.

“A Haven in the Wild.”

Montse is a wonderful host, she was so kind and welcoming. Our breakfast and evening meal was delicious, and beautifully served. The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Our little dog loved her visit, everyday Montse's dogs and cats played with her. The location is perfect for a relaxing break, beautiful scenery and lovely walks.

This place is just amazing - interiors with stylish furniture, beautiful view from windows, wonderful area around and delicious food made by Montse.... everything which person needs to be happy :) We traveled with our dog who could feel like at home around four other friendly dogs of host. Montse made our life easy - she gave us advise where to travel around and when we had some extra request she always helped. Thank you! We are planning to come back :)

“Amazing place with excellent host”

We loved everything. Masia den Just is such a charming place. Everything is decorated with love, really rustic and modern at the same time. Our bedroom upstairs was very big, really comfortable bed and breathtaking views to nature. The bathroom was also well equipped, with really soft towels! We even had an extra room with a sofa to hang out. Montse is an exceptional host with four lovely dogs that we fell immediately in love with. Her cooking is delicious, we recommend eating with her, she offers local products and everything is homemade cooked. We wished we could have stayed longer, we will definitely come back and recommend this stay to disconnect, get to know the area, have a lovely chat with Montse and pet her beautiful dogs.
