The host and his staff have been very kind and professional. They gave us good info about the surroundings, about what, where and when to visit places. Food was delicious made with genuine ingredients and hand made. Everything was clean and cosy. The sauna was fantastic and I advice to try the massage which was one of the best in my life. We had a walk in the snow up and down the hill, fantastic!

The place itself was simply magnificent – clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. What truly made the visit special was the host, Janko. He is incredibly friendly, always available to help, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. His warm personality really made us feel at home. “Lovely nature retreat in eastern Slovenia”

This beautiful little retreat was a wonderful place for us to stay. The owner and staff are so kind and provide fantastic hospitality, from offering us a welcome drink to serving an amazing smorgasbord for breakfast. The owner was very attentive, even to the point of asking us to sit down and have a glass of wine with him while he was in the middle of taking care of a large group there for a special event. Pomona is nestled in a beautiful nature area that includes a large pear orchard and distillery. There is an amazing skywalk where you can look 25 feet down to the owners pigs (we fed them our leftovers) and leads to an enclosed vertical vegetable garden. The owner, Janko, has plans to build an observation tower this summer. We will definitely go back when we are in Slovenia again.

Very good owner, kind, and with a big heart. Meets us individually, shows us all the hotel, and tastes us wine, the food is amazing! The location is also cool, has good parking, the number is new and clean!

Very friendly owner. We stayed for 1 week over the new year and were invited to the owners new year party. Excellent food. Only one minus. We paid for breakfast but it would be a nice touch noy to charge adult prices for children's breakfast as especially as we brought breakfast for our child ourselves. He is a fussy eater though.

Pomona is a hidden gem! The owner, Janko, is absolutely wonderful and passionate. The place is well managed and fantastic for spending there relaxed time. Everything is outstanding: the really good and tasty breakfast, delicious dinner, surroundings and atmosphere. The room is specious, simply decorated with comfy bed and large bathroom. I will definitely stay there next time travelling in Slowenia.
